7.1 Channel USB External Sound Card - 3D Surround Audio Adapter for Game/Music Lover,Home Theater-Ready Sound System(with SPDIF,Micphone,Speaker Port)

I have it hooked up and installed and it is set for 5.1 and I get the front, center and subwoofer but not the rear. No matter what I set it won't play through the rear. I can test in the software as well as in Windows and it plays the test out of all but nothing on the web like my SiriusXM Web Player.

I had to install the cd that was given for mine to work. My sound card was starting to give feedback and I wanted a quick fix so I purchased this. Then I simply made sure the right playback device was selected and I haven't had a problem since. The static is gone and I haven't looked back! I will say the blue light on the device is pretty bright if you stare directly at it so maybe angle it properly and be prepared because the cord is small which it didn't matter for me.

This adapter works as intended, however for my purposes, it was not what I needed. I was looking for a box to convert SPDIF to 3.5mm triple-connection surround, which I found out after the fact, was not its intended purpose.I did set it up on my PC via USB, though, and it works very well. The sound quality is solid, and it’s easy to set up and start using.

I had problems with this at first. I have limited connections on my laptop, so hubs were a necessity. Since I placed this on the closest 3.0 hub, it has worked fine. Before that the signal was intermittent and unreliable. I think lag is a problem with downstream hubs.

It just works. I had a bad audio on my motherboard and this solved it instantly. Simple to use and control.

Downloaded the driver, the interface was terrible, and when I tried testing each speaker, it did not send sound to the correct speaker and would send it to different speakers!! DO NOT BUY!
