Yes, it is a 120v. Also be aware the stove top uses a magnetic field with the cookware. It won't work with ceramic, teflon, aluminum, or copper. It states to use stainless steel or cast iron. We bought for a rental unit, so this info was disappointing because everything sticks to that type of cookware.

Hello, thank you for your message These cooktops have 1800W of total power, meaning if one element is set to 600W, then the second one has to be set to less than 1200W (combined total can not exceed 1800W)

I believe that the minimum cooking size is 4 inches diameter pot/pan.

Q: Is this ok to use with cast iron?

Personally I do not know, I do not own any cast iron, but this is what I found on the Internet: Cast iron pans and any black metal or iron pans will work on an induction cooking surface. Stainless steel pans will work on an induction cooking surface if the base of the pan is a magnetic grade of stainless steel. Hope this help.
