This is the best book that describes what internal and external motivation means, and how to apply it both in the work force, home and with parenting.Never had a true understanding on why I thought so many people are just lazy! Understand better about the internal and external motivation and the science, was helpful on how and what truly motivates us. Is it innately? can it be taught? all of these are yes'es in this book!

There are not many books I do not like but this is one of them.There are not many books that I skip parts of, but this is one of them.This guy really like to hear his own voice. I did not!You might find more info than I did. Maybe if he was not so very verbose.I wish I had not wasted an Audible credit on it!

A few parts were redundant but I loved the underlying message. Whether you have kids of your own, work with kids, or run an organization, I think this book has huge implications.
