For a mount like this, there are so many options to choose from it's hard to pick one. The sliding/adjustable concept is why I chose it and it did not disappoint. It allows for a little wiggle room if your wall mounts aren't perfectly placed. That being said, this was still a measure thrice, cut once situation. Minus one star on install for the supplied template (bose 500), it's not perfectly to scale. Each bracket has two holes for the wall anchors and the template works for those measurements. Do NOT use the template to mark the distance between the brackets. Grab your level, pencil, and measuring tape. The best part is the sliding feature. It allows you to easily set up the wiring and placement of the soundbar before you tighten it down. Take your time with the wall anchors, you'll need a drill bit that's slightly smaller than the diameter of the anchor. If you drill a hole that's too small, the anchor will start to deform when you start tapping it in. The last detail is drilling the hole for your wires. I temporarily mounted the soundbar and marked a few spots on the wall to make sure the hole was centered. I gradually increased the size of the hole until I could pull the wires through. I took my time, trying to keep the hole as small as possible so it wouldn't be visible. With some additional cable management, it took about 1.5 hours taking my time.

The mount works great for small soundbars with bottom mount screw holes. It's not just meant for the Bose line alone. It worked great for the Bose 700 soundbar screw was the correct thread/pitch and it was very sturdy. I returned the Bose soundbar though and bought a Vizio Elevate aaaand that's where is weakness showed. The Vizio Elevate made it tilt down and was very "bouncy" not sturdy at all. I took that bar back too...lol and got a LG SN11RG which is a whopping 17lbs this mount did not cut it at all! Keep the weight under 10lbs and it's pretty good.

Very easy to install, and for those that know me I make easy look difficult, but not this time, mounted my Bose 700 module with no setbacks, end result a level and centered soundbar under the tv, highly recommend this high quality, low cost product...

These are sturdy, come with everything you need to install including a template. I did not use the template (on the back of the directions), so I had to make a minor adjustment and they look fine (can't really see them under the soundbar. There is a screw to attach the soundbar to the brackets but if you have a Bose soundbar you know you have to disconnect it every once in awhile to restart it and I just leave it sitting on top of the brackets versus attaching them. Be sure to use a level when installing them as even an 1/8" difference is very visible under your TV.

Instead of manufacturer model at more money this was cheaper and yet also has adjustability for distance from wall. Great product arrived quickly and fit perfectly and very good heft to them very durable. I research anally all purchases. If your model of Bose matches this it will work with no concerns.
