Product arrived damaged due to UPS handling (no fault of vendor). Vendor immediately sent out a replacement. Product worked for about 3 weeks, then developed a crack which leaked. Vendor offered to refund money or replace with a different material housing. I chose different material housing, arrived quickly but did not fit the standard cap. Vendor then sent a complete kit. Everything works great! Leily assisted with entire ordeal and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Customer service is SUPER EXCELLENT FIVE STARS!!!!

It’s exactly what I expected. The customers was happy with the end results. Would recommend it to anyone looking to install a pre-sediment filter followed by a carbon filter.

Added this 4.5”x 20” along with the 2.5” x 20”. It works but mine leaks ever so slightly. It allows me to change the filter monthly instead of weekly.

Excellent design on being able to visualize the filter element. Seller is amazingly responsive and honestly that is almost more important than the product itself.

I have a lot of sediment in my well water and decided to get this larger one to change less frequently.MISTAKEAlthough it is a sturdy well built filter it has a couple of drawbacks.1. It is rather heavy and a bit sloppy to change. I have to put a large garbage can under it when changing the filter as water spills down the 20" casing and spread over an area as the casing is unscrewed. This could be solved had they designed a drain in the bottom of the casing. I called the company and suggested that and was told it would weaken the housing.2. As with most water filters the red button relief valve leaks and this filter is no exception. How about a petcock instead of a spring loaded valve?3. The Bluonics o-ring ($12) didn't fit. It was larger or stretched bigger than the one I was replacing and could not use it. But that is in another review.My bottom line: Use the smaller filters, two of them side by side if you have to. Perhaps a 20 micron and then a 5 micron.

So I ordered this as an exact replacement for the filtration system in my house that had a leaking blue onyx big clear filter housing. I purchased this one because it was an exact match, had the same model number, the same barcode and everything. But when I tried to install the replacement, lo and behold it will not thread because while all of the nomenclature is the same, these are two different size products. The one I purchased here is slightly shorter, and has a smaller diameter, so it will not thread into the original housing. Unfortunately due to the setup of my filtration system, I cannot swap out the white housing cap for this new one without taking the entire system apart. I am very disappointed in their customer service as well as it seems to be impossible to get hold of anybody.

I like the clear housing for a prefilter so I know when to replace it. well worth the price for this kit.

I purchased 3 of the to build a whole house water filtration system, putting these together was such a pain in the ass...I used 1in brass M/M nipple fittings to a 3 way Tee (1in x 1/4in x 1in) to put a pressure valve for monitoring pressure drop...getting the brass nipple fitting to seal, what near imposable, I used plumbers sealant (designed to for this application) after torqueing the fitting into place at almost 400#, I still have a small leak on one housing.Attaching the bottom to the top is also a pain in the rear, has it does not "seat" perfectly to spin into place and it takes some finagling with the filter in the canister .The mounting bracket, is the absolute worst part of the product, it bent while attempting to tighten the fittings, and flexes greatly under the weight of the filter and water...this one aspect will prevent from buy anymore of this...but to add all of the other difficulties, I would never recommend this product
