Joe Camp is Right On!
I love books written by Joe Camp and following his blog. He is on a mission to teach horse owners the best way to raise horses in the most natural way and uses the "Wild Horse Model" as the basis for all aspects of horse care, as nature intended. He builds a strong case for this method and is paving the way for a better life for horses in the world. I would urge anyone who owns and loves horses to read his books and heed his advice to provide a happier and healthier life for these beautiful creatures.

How to maximize your horse's natural living situation for health
As with his other books, Joe Camp understands a lot of about horses and how they live in a natural setting. I have personally tried the Pasture Paradise on small areas of land, and it has done wonders for horses and reducing the amount of stress they suffer. I have never understand why we pay more to put a horse in a tiny box stall, and pay almost nothing to board in a giant pasture. Goes well with the books by Dr. Madalyn Ward for natural horse health.

Every Horse Lover Should read this
How many of us have unintentionally stressed our beloved horses? Through ignorance or misinformation most horse owners are guilty of causing stress or health issues to their horses. We don't do it deliberately - it's the only way we know. Well Joe has done the research for us and this book should be read by anyone wanting to be involved with domesticated horses. Your horse will be so much happier and so will you.

I do like this book
I do like this book, it is a motivation read, about learning more. It talks about eliminating stress, and natural horse methods including barefoot trimming. It is not as informational as I hoped, but the simplicity of the book speaks to the simplicity of removing stress.

Don't own a horse without this knowledge!!!
This should be a worldwide movement! The information offered is so critical and informative. Truly sit back and think about what it would be like from the horse's perspective-that is what Joe is offering you! This could change your life as well-be an advocate for your horse and you'll help others and their horses too. Thanks Joe for always doing the research for us and brining us the truth! It's an amazing well written book.

Disappointed in the volume of information. Book is small.
I haven't actually read the entire book yet, but I was disappointed that it's such a small book for such a big price. It's small: 5"X8" with large print and big spaces between the lines, so there isn't much content. Only 94 pages of reading; the remainder is Resources. I loved reading "The Soul of a Horse" by Joe Camp, so I purchased "Horses & Stress....", "Why Relationship First Works", and "Beginning Ground Work" (I'm a newbie to horses). The latter two are even smaller (less content) than this book "Horses & Stress". The content of all of them are probably good, but I wouldn't pay much for any of them because there isn't a whole of info in each book. If you haven't read "The Soul of a Horse", I'd recommend that one. 5 Stars.I gave this book only 3 Stars because it's a small read - not a lot of information even if it is good.

Greatly appreciated and enjoyed
As my own thoughts, observations and research have started me down the path of adjusting how I care for my horses and the environment I provide for them, the information that Mr. Camp shares in this book reassures me that I am moving in a GREAT direction. I look forward to reading more of his books so that I may continue to ask questions, find better ways and be a better caretaker of my horses.

Great reading with valuable information
There are many informational books about horses and how to care for them. Joe Camp has captured the true nature of horses and shares his knowledge in a way that everybody can understand it. His style of writing is witty and entertaining, even the most basic principals of horse maintenance and training read like a story, not a lecture.I have all of his books and never get tired of reading them over again.

Must Read!
Joe Camp hits the nail on the shoe every time (even when promoting barefoot horses so passionately and rightly so!!!). Every piece of advice had tremendous value!!! Thank you, Joe and Kathleen and stellar horses.

Kurz und auf den Punkt gebracht
Joe Camp schreibt in gutem Stil, angeknüfpt an eigene Erfahrungen. Sehr angenehm!
