Not for podium use, but strictly tabletop.
Product is ok if you're using a lightweight wired or wireless microphone. If you use a heavy microphone the goose neck isn't strong enough to support. Also, be mindful that the stand is only about 11 inches so it's not long enough for use at a podium. It's probably better for use strictly for tabletop use for podcasts etc. The base is pretty solid.

Perfect stands!
Ordered two of the stands to sit on top of our podium's and they work great! Love that the neck is flexible and the stand is weighted down! Thanks so much.
