A good book to read if your wanting to learn more about animals and farming.

This is for a grandson that loves the small farm life. Hoping he will learn that he can make somewhat of a living raising and taking care of small farm animals.

Good information, but felt the sheep chapter was lacking. The chicken chapter was full of very good advice and plans to build a small chicken coop, not the size i need. Needed something larger for free range coop.Overall good.

This was a gift to my wife for christmas. She is very interested in raising small animals in the future on our future farm. This seems to be a great introduction into the care/feeding/welfare of small animals such as goats, pigs, and chickens. I think she was very pleased!
