Baudelaire: Poems: Translated by Richard Howard (Everyman's Library Pocket Poets Series)

For those wondering if this contains all of Baudelaire's work: Contents are the entirety of Les Fleurs Du Mal and eight prose poems.

Not a fan of poetry, but read about him from several writers I enjoy. Skimmed some, pretty depressing, but I shall scan again. I was happy with the service and shall order from these people again.

This is a nice high quality little book of, I would say, the best of Baudelaire poetry. (It may be complete I don't know what all of his poetry is). However, read some Baudelaire before you buy this, because his poetry definitely isn't for everyone.

Excerpts from Flowers of Evil here. Makes for a poignant pocket of poetry. Baring Baudelaire in this engrossingly secret sized companion book is a pleasure indeed. Translations are quality and binding is tight and durable. Bring dear Charles along with you... what a treate...

Baudelaire is one of my all-time favorite poets. Dark and perverse wisdom from the pen of one of the most famous of Symbolists.
