Fun little addition to the current Castle themed sets
I have been a huge Lego fan since before I started kindergarten, and still have some of the pieces from those first sets I got as a child. I have been excited since they released these new sets, and have purchased all 5 released so far. I almost rated this set 4 out of 5 stars because on its own, it does not make a very exciting toy, but when combined with the other sets in this theme, it is a great addition, so I had to give it a 5 - besides, it comes with four minifigs. I can only assume that someone interested in this set would be interested in others in the same theme. Together they all rate 5 stars:70401 - Gold Getaway - ***** +/- $2770402 - The Gatehouse Raid - ***** +/- $3070403 - Dragon Mountain - ***** +/- $5070404 - King's Castle - ***** - +/- $125

This set was purchased to add to the Legos I already have in my grandkids' playroom. They have been using Lego City sets up until now so this one is something different and they love it!! One warning: the pieces are very small so assembly may require adult supervision for the younger age group. Legos are the best toys out there; they last forever and spark kids' imagination as they are so versatile!!! They are expensive though so I like to buy them when there is a rare price reduction or part of the "add on" program.

Not sure
I got it with a beat up box. Can’t complain with the price though. All the pieces are there and looks brand new.

Great value - cute minifigures
I love this little set. For 9 dollars is is a steal. Considering you pay 10 for 3 minifigures at the Lego Store, this set comes with four cute figures, all with helmets and accessories. My kids loved everything about it. It had moving parts (a tree that falls over), a wagon for transport, and - my kids favorite - a chest full of gold and jewels. For the price and size of the set, this was played with far longer than a 60 dollar set I purchased recently!

now we have all the Castle Lego sets
This is the smallest Castle Lego set. I think the Gold Getaway set and the King's Castle set are the best. But this one is good because it has four minifigs, a dog, a cart for carrying the treasure and weapons, and a mini forest (one tree and some shrubbery) for ambushing the Lion Kingdom's soldiers. This is great for playing. You can take it almost anywhere.

Great set with neat pieces!
I bought this as a gift for my little brother. I was able to help him put it together. It was a lot of fun and a cute set for the price. It comes with a lot of neat pieces including small gems to go in a treasure box and a cute dog. Great gift for all ages! My husband even loves it so I bought him one of his own.

Way too expensive; deceptive ad!
Way too expensive for anything that comes in a 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch box! Makes for a flimsy birthday gift for $70!

Was a
little hesitant at first to buy anything Lego from amazon.com just because, but when I received my order (6/11/14) I was pleasantly surprised. Just like the seller I bought from described, brand new and factory sealed with no dents or anything wrong with the box. Ive been a collector for a while now and I've been meaning to expand on my collection.
