ATLAS MODEL 706 Passenger Station Kit HO

It is crazy with detail and looks great under the tree. But Surprise, it took me about 4 hours to assemble. Incredible detail. Each dormer on the roof is 4 parts. Each window and door has clear plastic "glass", some with green "shades". The station and pavilion have downspouts. The cart is 10 really small pieces that have to be glued in progression so the glue dries before the next set of pieces go on. An impressive and detailed train station. The cement floors even have cracks!As an fyi, I used Super Glue that came with a brush on a screw on cap. Made assembly a bit easier in my opinion.

Overall I was very satisfied with the appearance of the railroad station. Excellent detail. The only reason I didn't give it 4 or more stars is that I felt the instructions were a little lacking in clarity. Maybe it was because I am just a casual model builder and not a pro, but in certain areas I had to do some guessing and improvising with assembly. One piece didn't appear in the instructions anywhere and doesn't seem to be part of this model. Even with those deficiencies, I would buy an Atlas model again simply because they look good! Patience and skill are necessities in putting one of these together.

I painted the building, then assembled it. The only problem was the roof had too be fitted by cutting away part of the interior at both ends. When done it was a impressive model.

I just received this the box was crushed the model itself is ok. I will keep it no parts are broken. However handling leaves much to be desired. Come on guys it is a plastic model that costs 25.00 dollars be more careful

This product was cheaply made and you had to put together! Want the item I wanted based on those two factors so I sent it back! I was refunded promptly

In the process of putting it together. Very nicely done. I'm happy with it and enjoying working on it. I did paint it a shade of red and can't decide if I should put a second coat or let it look "weathered." But it's worth the money.

Excellent recreation of a passenger train station. The instructions were very detailed and easy to follow.

My husband bought this as a Christmas gift for our 7 year old grandson. My husband didn't realize you had to put it all together. The project was time consuming and if you are not a detailed person who likes to do this type of hobby, forget it.My husband did a great job, it looks great and our grandson loved it!'

Just arrived today in a timely fashion from the US to Canada. Looks impressive....good detail.....lots of little pieces. Will be a nice addition to my newly started layout. Keep me busy for a while :-))
