I had purchased these hair pins for a special event. However, when the time came to actually put them in my hair I noticed that they did not have the little protection at the end and it kind of scratches your scalp. I ended up switching to just regular bobby pins. Hope this helps

These are very pretty matte colors but they are so tight they will rip your hair out :( They are the tightest bobby pins I've ever used and I struggle a lot to put them on, let alone make a cute design with them stacked on top of each other. I will try to pry them open a bit but as of now they hurt to wear.

The quality feels really good. I see what the other reviewers mean when they say they’re really tight and might rip out hair if you’re not careful. However, I had no problem getting them out you just need to be careful. I actually like how tight they are because they stay in place and you don’t need to constantly readjust them. I haven’t had them long enough to say if the paint chips or not, but it looks like it should be fine.

Super stiff can’t even put in your hair without them scalping you and pulling out every hair

It a little to tight in my hair. Since I'm only getting it for hear decoration I wish it didn't give me a headache when I put it in.
