I rarely give a review, but, I must tell you about this Dongle. If you have been struggling with trying to get Bluetooth on your Windows 7 SP1 without success, this is a must read.I love Windows 7. It works great for me and I think it's the most beautiful OS I've seen, including all the Linux OS out there. I do not run a virus program, but, I've had one virus in about 15 years. If I ever should, I can do a clean restore in about 10 minutes, and I'm back where I started.I mention this only because we are told that we must run Windows 10 for it's protection. Could be true, but, not for me.So, with that aside, for those Windows 10 lovers that say "just use 10 and solve your Bluetooth problem", they may be right, and that's ok. There's enough different ways to do something that we can all do it our own way.The only flaw in my Windows 7 setup has been, I have never been able to get my headphones , hearing aids and other such devices to work. And, I know why Microsoft will not permit a Windows 7 user to download all of the Bluetooth drivers for Windows 7. To get that needed BT driver, you must install other software that puta nag screens on your PC to use Edge, and migrate to Windows 10, with a lot of spyware thrown in.So, I have struggled with perhaps buying, trying and returning perhaps 10+ USB Dongles over the past 18 months, off and on, to try to find a Dongle that INCLUDED the drivers needed for Windows 7. THIS IS THE ONE TO BUY. First attempt to install the BT went perfectly! It was hard for me to really believe that this little 5.1 BT USB dongle works. NO GLITCHES.I'm sure there are few hundred people out there that know exactly what I'm talking about. Take my word for it and get one of these. These software engineers from China know something that all of the others do not (YET). Good luck

When i plugged it in i thought i had to go through a whole process of downloading and turning things on but instead when i went to my setting my bluetooth just started working and i was able to connect to things. I would really recommend this product if you have a pc or laptop you do not need any support for this and i forgot to add that if your using headphones or wireless things the range connectivity is pretty bad with like 5-8 feet so i would say stay close to your device. But i would still recommend buying this!

Definitely not plug and play. Installation is a pain and never quite works. The instructions are in broken English and not clear. Once setup on your computer is completed, restarted, and then removed to be placed in an external device, the dongle is no longer recognized. My computer only recognizes the dongle when it is plugged into the computer. My computer has internal Bluetooth (which I disabled as required per intructions to complete setup) yet once the dongle is removed, my computer can never find it again. It is as if this dongle setup is to replace or add bluetooth to a computer that doesnt have it, not to extend the range of other devices. Wasted $6 on trying to get the garbage Cameo 4 to have any wireless capability which Silhouette refuses to acknowledge has a major flaw.

Works to attach Dualshock 4 controllers to PC. Just hold down the share button on the top left of the controller and find new device on your PC Bluetooth in settings, BAM! It works for gaming and audio.

Plugged into the front of an older Desktop PC and works over 20 ft depending on what is in the way. Can go much further the less stuff/walls are in the way. This was used to connect a Bluetooth battery speaker.

Drivers are not the best but it does work
