Works perfectly
This has been a great chair for lounging in the pool this summer. It works well for people of varying sizes - petite (< 100 lbs) to extra large (>300). It has faded in the sun, but otherwise, no drawbacks. I would purchase it again.

Been looking for this chair for a long time...
We bought my husband a chair like this for the pool a long time ago and it was his favorite. The adjustments make it amazingly versatile based on how you want to lay and how far into the water. Our old one broke after a couple of years use but most pool toys do when you leave them in the water ha! Then three years later we see this same style and we went for it- price was crazy compared to what we paid for his original at the store. However, it was the best one he's ever owned so we didn't care and made the purchase. When we received this chair- we figured for the cost that it would be very durable and still hope it will. The air tubes feel great so far and we've made sure to not over-inflate them but the place where you sit your bottom was very thin and sounds like paper crinkling around. We're worried that it won't last long and it seems quite flimsy. However... don't get me wrong! I'm hoping and holding out that this will be a strong chair like before. We'll do our best to take care of it and always keep it out of the water and rinsed off.I don't think we've had a SINGLE pool chair or floating device that's yet to break where the seams are. We usually spend around 5 to 15 dollars so you'd think for this amount that something would be made to make these things a bit more durable. I hope that one day someone comes up with a better design. It's so hard to find what you like each year because the styles often change.

Good to float around in the pool and watch a baseball game!
These are great and comfortable. I have purchase three of these over the past six years or so. Will continue buy. You can adjust the straps to fit your frame. Sit up in them or slide back to lay down. I use a pool noodle to support the feet. Makes watching a baseball game in the pool AWSome!

Best float ever!
I purchased this float in 2020 and it is still the best float aftee 4 summers! I use it 5-7 days a week June- August. You can sit or lay. Easy to get on, easy to inflate and perfect to take with you.

Would love these if they weren't manufactured so poorly.
I bought 2 of these chairs at a store 7 years ago and they lasted through dozens of boating trips and we basically wore them out. I have been looking everywhere and finally found them again on Amazon, They look identical but they aren't. They must be made somewhere else because they are made like crap now. They didn't make it through even 1 use without ripping and we aren't big people. I returned the first ones but now they are all ripped again. didn't make it through even 2 uses. i paid $23 for mine and now they have them for $65. Really? i absolutely loved my original chairs and even though these look and work like those, they aren't made like them. If they were i'd tell you to buy them. I'm very disappointed in the quality. wasted my money.

Enjoyable 'chair' / 'recliner' float for kids or adults, has no issues with people over 200lbs
This is one of the 'chair' style floats I recently purchased to try out. I'll definitely be keeping this, it's really enjoyable.PROS:Easy setup, simply inflate the 4 different tubes (the 3 main ones, and the rectangular back support), and adjust the straps to suit your preference. The nylon seems tougher than some other products I've used in the past. I weigh around 250lbs, and this had no problem keeping me afloat similar to the product photos. I was able to use it in a reclining position and as a 'chair'. This can be deflated quickly and is very portable.Value:Overall this is a good value, but I can't say it's an amazing value. The product itself is awesome, but I believe it would be an even better value if it cost a little less, maybe low 20's or high teens.Other thoughts:If someone is having issues with this keeping their body afloat in the water, make sure your understanding of how it works is correct. The 3 main tubes will keep your body afloat. Don't expect to be sitting "on top" of the water surface. If you're pretty much almost wholly sunk, I would advise ensuring the floats are fully inflated. At around 250, I was happily floating mid-waterline.

Negative, Ghost Rider
Out of the box, I was unsure about this float- but I read a few reviews and it seemed good. The chair part is made of a thin nylon and it just looked cheap. It wasn’t like the typical other floats we purchase every year. I blew it all up and put it in the pool. The next day, I was ready to try it out and the right arm was already deflated. I figured maybe I didn’t secure the top well enough. Despite my initial hesitations, this float was extremely comfortable! It allows you to float at the perfect angle without the hassle of trying to maneuver your body over wet plastic like other typical pool floats. I was happy...for a few minutes. Well, now back to the right arm of the float...once submerged in the water, bubbles started coming out on the opposite end of where the plastic stopper is- air was escaping. We have a hole and it’s only day 1. Since the float is composed of a nylon material, there isn’t a plastic patch that could even patch this up. I am VERY disappointed and have initiated a return. I’d do a replacement- but after reading further reviews that note the poor craftsmanship, I don’t think the price point is good enough for me to take that risk.

Sturdy & good value
Arrived within days. Very comfortable and sturdy in the water. Lie back or sit upright, depending on where you adjust the pillow. Good value.

Excellent
Excellent chair so comfy. We are heavy 17st and 21st and it supported us really well. The laid back position is the most comfy/stable. The sit up position requires you to balance a little. Really pleased

Hell yeah I would recommend.
The Poolmaster 70742 water chair exceeded my expectation. After reading multiple reviews I had zero expectations they would be any good. I bought more as a gag gift for myself and a buddy to use at his lake house. I am a big dude! 6’3 and 330lbs. After 5 or 6 uses it is holding together just great. Don’t get me wrong. I am not going to put my life on the line in more than 10-15’ of water depth but it keeps me buoyant enough to embarras the hell out of my teenage daughter in front of her friend's. Stitching is holding on for dear life but no signs or ripping. I would recommend these chairs.
