Best Before December 2015
I just got my order, opened it up, tried it and almost threw up. Stale crackers and the nut butters had all separated into a cement like sludge. I checked the expiry date and they were all expired! The date said "Best Before December 2015" and it is now 2018. What!!!!I can not believe someone would send this out as a product. This is not a critique of the product itself, they are usually good, but I am buying local for now on for this because the other order was the same. So someone over at order fulfillment is sending out old back stock to it's customers.

Products were past their "best by" dates
I like Gopicnic meals & snacks generally, find them tasty enough for handy lunches at work and have ordered many times. However, the meals I received a couple of weeks ago were past their "best by" dates. There were stickers with “best by” dates on each box in the two cases of 6 (one contained turkey stick meals and the other hummus and cracker meals) that I had ordered; my prior experience with Gopicnic products is that the “best by” date is stamped on each box, so I peeled back the stickers (not an easy task) on a box of each kind that I had received and found different, earlier “best by” dates. One sticker had a “best by” date in June 2018 but the stamped date underneath was Nov 2017!! The other had a “best by” date in July 2018 on the sticker but had a stamped date of April 1, 2018. I contacted Amazon and they graciously allowed me to return both cases and told me they would give me a full refund. I will not be buying these again.

💩EXPIRED FOOD ITEMS: DO NOT PURCHASE🤬
First off, this was supposed to be the gluten free variety pack; 5 out of the 6 are labeled GF, one box has two glutenous products in it that I would not have been able to consume. For the price, I was willing to keep what I could eat and give the regular crackers to someone who would eat them, however, when I went back to the Amazon page to investigate further, I discovered that the suspiciously stickered expiry dates on the boxes deserved another look. These food items were EXPIRED UPON ARRIVAL. Yes. All but one was expired! The one that was not yet past its expiration date only has about a month left until it should not be consumed. Someone covered the original, expired dates with later dates, to make it appear as if the food were still edible. The US Food and Drug Administration regulates the health and safety of consumable items; it is illegal and punishable by law to intentionally alter the "Best By” dates on food items, anyone who does this is committing a Federal crime. Anyone who is both deceptively mislabeling an expiry date as well as selling such merchandise accross state lines, is committing two Federal crimes.Beware of ANY food item you receive where the expiry date is not printed directly on the packaging. Manufacterers are required to print this date directly on the packaging, so the stickers with later dates one these items were placed on these boxes after they were packaged and originally dated for distribution. The fact that the stickers used are both occlusive and “tamper evident” meaning, the adhesive layer is intended to both conceal and destroy the underlying surface upon attempted removal, is abhorrent. Consumable products have expiry dates for a reason: the health and safety of the public.I am not even going to try to eat the items in any of these lunches and I am certainly not going to allow anyone in my family to do so. I could not believe the other reviews that I did not read prior to making this purchase. All 6 boxes had re-labeled expiry dates. I have provided photos of the peeled stickers to show the original expiry dates as well as the later dates. These lunches had so much potential, it's quite a shame that someone made a poor choice and altered something so important as to cause people to completely lose trust in the entire product.I guess I have a phone call/email to the FDA to make. I've received products from Amazon before that have been expired, but never have they had the original expiry dates intentionally masked. This is more than a mistake, this is intentional and potentially harmful to anyone who consumes a product beyond its best use date, mostly because dry, packaged goods are labeled for up to one year after they are sealed, depending upon the preservation method (MREs are freeze-dried and nearly all moisture removed, therefore, their expiry dates are much further in the future). If you are eating expired, prepackaged food, it is possible that you're eating food that is over a year old. If you've never had food poisoning before, you'd better consider Imodium or Pepto, some unexpired crackers and plenty of rehydration fluid; your next few days could be pretty rough.

Tasty, but missing important items
I will start this review by saying that all 3 of us in my home LOVE these, and we have ordered them repeatedly. They're a convenient, quick, and easy portion-controlled meal when we're on the go, or just being lazy at home, and are pretty much self-contained.If this review was based solely on that, it would be a five star review.Unfortunately, there's issues:- In our most recent order of these, 5 of the 6 meals did not include a spreader for the cheese... which is kinda important for getting the cheese out of the plastic tub and onto a cracker. The 6th meal hasn't been opened yet, but I suspect it will not have a spreader as well.- One of those 5 meals didn't even have the cheese in it. The cheese is a significant portion of the meal; for it to be forgotten/overlooked during packaging is very disappointing.Order details: 6 individually-packaged GoPicnic meals, contained in a GoPicnic package of 6, shipped from and sold by Amazon. I have a photo of one of the individual packages showing the expiration date and what I assume is a lot number, if Amazon Customer Service should decide to contact me.I hate giving one star on a product my family loves, but there is a quality control issue at work here, and it needs to be addressed.

and I love the convenience
I have ordered Go Picnics on Amazon many times now, and 3 of the last 4 times I have gotten the incorrect order. I give up. My daughter absolutely loves Go Picnics, and I love the convenience, but we keep getting flavors we didn't order and don't like. Amazon needs to figure this out or quit offering choices that they aren't fulfilling.
