Can’t fit much salad, which is mostly what I eat.

I read all reviews before buying and I was concerned as there are some negative ones. I bought this for my husband and it will stay warm for like 6 hours if you do the following:- boil kettle and fill lunchbox with water. Rest lid on top (don't screw as it will be hard to re open). Leave for 5 minutes-Microwave your stew/curry/chilli/pasta for a long time and get it REALLY HOT. Too hot to eat.-Pour out water-Put food in lunchbox-Seal lunchbox, SCREW TIGHTLYMy husband works outside and this has been an absolute godsend. You just need to use it properly, hope this review helps! Have a great lunch!

I would only give this product one star. It is really lovely to hold and a really great size which is very positive. Other food warmers I found contain just about enough food to feed a small hamster! So this is a great size.My problem with it is that the lid has a valve I expect to support the temperature of the food inside, albeit the valve allows water to get into the lid of the product, and no way to get it out! :-( This is my total pet peeve of any sippy cup or air-tight container! That they trap moisture. The lid containing water in my images you can see if you squeeze the lid together and shake it, you can get out a bit of the water inside. However there is still some inside the lid and who knows what else, yuck!There is some kind of sponge inside the lid also, I expect again to assist with the temperature. But that obviously soaks up the water with nowhere for it to escape. Terrible shame as it is a really good looking food container and the best size I’ve seen so far. If water in the lid would not concern you then for all other reasons, I would recommend.

I was using this for ages thinking my son was having a big meal but one day he cam snack early and I realised the food was pretty cold poor thing had been eating cold lunches for weeks :( and I had been up cooking every morning for nothing!

It doesn't insulate perfectly but it's ok. You can eat your lunch out of it so that's convenient.However, the top lid started cracking within a few weeks and finally broke after 3 months. I tried glueing it back in place but it's under a lot of pressure when opening so no glue will be strong enough.It doesn't seem a great idea to make the lid out of two plastic peaces glued together when you are supposed to ensure that the lid is screwed on tightly. Glue just can't take that pressure.Anyway disappointed and would like my money back but there doesn't seem to be an option to get it. Not cool.

Filled it with hot water and left it, later I turn it on it's side and hot water flooded out.For hot food it no use, five hours after heating flask and food the food was just warm and no more.For cold food it works great and as long as you keep the liquid down to a min and keep upright, it works great.
