This came damaged. (The envelope was not damaged, just the product) There is a protective film but the film had slashes and scratched in it. I peeled the film hoping it was not damaged underneath, but it was still scratched up especially at the first corner.Also, The magnet slides on our new dishwasher so we won't be using it there for fear of scratching up the new machine front.Another thing. This is larger than expected. Not really a good thing for me, I wouldn't mind it smaller, but I can see how the larger text would be great for more elderly households with vision impairments

This really works. My husband had a problem discerning clean from dirty as we clean off our dishes before piling them in the dishwasher. I have a stainless steel front on my dishwasher and the magnetics didn't work. It does however, stick to the refrigerator side right next to the dishwasher. I wasn't sure my husband would use see it. He noticed it before I had a chance to even tell him about it. It's very clear to read, and I like that the panel slides back and forth easily to whichever side you want. It's nice looking too. Price is spot on and I recommend it.

Did not have to peel and stick. Magnetic feature holds good. This is really handy. I repeat I REALLY LIKE IT. The red and green color is an upgrade from just the words clean or dirty. I’m in training. I’m getting pretty good at remembering to slide to dirty immediately upon emptying clean dishes, then sliding over to clean when cycle is finished and I delay emptying the dishwasher.

With multiple caregivers in my elderly father's house, this was a great addition to the dishwasher. Now, there's not any doubt when they come in if they have clean or dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Turn on the dishwasher and slide the sign to "Clean" and you are done. Empty it and slide it to "Dirty."

This is way bigger then I thought. Which became a plus so the kids can read easyer. I would definitely recommend this product. Works well with our family.

One of the little plastic ends fell off as soon as I opened the package. I did not use the adhesive because my dishwasher has a metal front. The magnets are strong so it stays in place. Easy to slide even with the broken piece. I just glued it back on with some superglue.

Very easy to read. Helps my kids know if they can put their dirty dishes in the dishwasher or not. I haven't used the adhesive to stick in on and the magnet holds it on just fine. The only issue I have is the slide door is too easy to move. For example you can accidentally switch from clean to dirty with the brush of a robe in passing... it's happened a few times.

Arrived heavily scratched out of the wrapping. Also slide that switches dirty to clean is not terribly durable. Poor craftsmanship, but gets the job done.

Yeah it's all well and good until you're shouting "IS THE DISHWASHER EMPTY?" to get a simple "no" for you to proceed with "OK WELL IS IT FULL CLEAN OR FULL DIRTY?" Well this conversation hasnt happened in my house since I bought this. I never knew I needed it until I got it. The only downside is my 2 year old boy slides it back and forth pointing at the word dirty and saying "mummy" and then clean "daddy". So, I suppose it has its downside. If you dont have a 2 year old, go for it.

Exactly what I wanted and what the house needed.It’s magnet is strong and stable and it’s a breeze placing it on the dishwasher. It comes with two padded stickers if you wish to use that rather than the magnet.It slides very easily showing CLEAN/DIRTY and even though it’s only happened once in this house, we shall always know if the dishwasher is clean and just not fully empty yet.I should buy one for the dishwasher at work.All in all, good item, sturdy and decent size.

This is the 2nd similar item I've bought: the 1st one was returned as faulty...didn't slide! This is almost identical to the returned item but it's working and was better priced. I think it's still a bit expensive for what it is but at least it does the job.
