This device requires you to download an app so that you can set the FM station it uses. It comes from the factory set to 96.4, and most cars don't allow you to select even decimal radio frequencies, so you basically HAVE to configure it.The app is poorly translated from chinese, and in some areas (like selecting a language and country) not translated at all. That was a challenge.Other than that, once it's configured you can basically delete the app and just use it as normal. Sound quality is fine, and the compact size means I can hide it in my fold-away ash tray.UPDATE: I noticed today that it does not turn off automatically with the car. So, if your cigarette lighter has always-on power, it will just stay on. That could kill your battery pretty quickly. I'm not sure if I'll end up keeping this for that reason.I also noticed that it doesn't seem to auto-pair with the bluetooth on my phone when it is plugged in, so i have to manually connect every time I get in the car, which is frustrating.

I drive a 2006 Volvo which somehow does not have bluetooth or an aux jack either one. It's almost impossible to add either one to the factory stereo because it's all fiber optic so this has been a great solution. It connects to my phone quickly and the app works really well to fine tune in an open station. You can even change the color of the LED lights with the app. The charger works well and the output is able to keep up with my phone drawing power while streaming music and using navigation. The plug itself is nice looking and looks to be made with quality materials.

La calidad del sonido es buena. Con esto no fue necesario actualizar ni modificar el stereo que vino de serie en el coche. No ocupa espacio y pasa como un cargador USB. Función que cumple a la perfección. Empareja a Bluetooth fácil. Para seleccionar frecuencia de operación es necesario usar la aplicación.

I had the early version of this, and any rough road in my old Corvette would result in a momentary power loss, and restart of the old unit. So glad I decided to upgrade to the latest model. This unit works flawlessly so far. The bluetooth app allows quick configuration of the frequency I want to broadcast on. Plenty of power to reach my antenna. My phone stays charged up. Soft blue glow is not distracting. Very happy with it.

I bought this 5 months ago, it worked great, sound was great, until it wasn't. It began to do nothing half the time, everytime I pluged it in it did nothing and the static persisted. I'm now repluging it in every 5 seconds for 30 minutes while driving for the chance it decides to do its thing and I'll be able to play music.

Get your self some Bluetooth. My car is a 2007 and does not have Bluetooth. This works great. There is an app that helps you change the radio frequency. Once in a while you might have to do this if you travel to a new area where your frequency is being used. No big deal takes about a minute.

Works great as long as you're able to set your radio station to something under 88.1. Anything above that and there will be static unless the device is physically touched.

It's very useful and quality is good. Saw it on YouTube so I decided to get one. The only con I have is that if you bump it slightly, the charger will stop connecting to the car antenna. And you will have to readjust the charger. I'm not saying it's the best. It's better than what I used to have. And I have a 2nd USB port for charging another device.Overall great product, and if I had a 2nd car. I'd get another one.
