How-To Retrofit this bidet
Nice product for what it is. I like the finish. I only wish it was thermostatic; and I would have purchased it for a higher price just for that feature. Anyway, I've read a lot of reviews and most of the questions on Amazon before buying. First of all, this bidet can be installed both in a remodel/new construction and as retrofit. In my case it was a remodel but I opted to install it in a way that works for retrofitting so that way I can replace it if it fails (leaks for example) in the future. To install this bidet in a way that you can easily replace it if it fails you need to have a vanity near the toilet. Drill a couple of holes in the vanity, build a bracket to mount the bidet to it and install it on the inside of the vanity. Install your water supply lines by tapping into the sink water supply lines and you're done. You'll have hot/cold water bidet and without needing to mess with any walls or calling a plumber. Just make sure you do your measurements correctly. Once you drill holes in a vanity you won't be able to patch them if you make a mistake ;). For example, in your measurements account for how long your supply lines need to be to tap into the sink supply (the longest faucet supply line I've found at Home Depot online was 36"). Also keep in mind the bidet handle in your measurements, you don't want it to not have room to hang because you installed your bidet base too close to your vanity top. Make sure to use a thread sealant like RectorSeal and wrap teflon on it for your threaded connections (only on the inside of the vanity, not the nice matte black side where the hose connects to the base and handle) To install the cosmetic cover plate on the outside of your vanity use a double sided tape (like 3M or whatever) and add a bunch of it in strips building it to the proper thickness and just stick the plate to the vanity that way. In addition to buying this bidet I bought another bidet that has a traditional handle (squeeze not a button) that allows you to control the water pressure with your palm as you spray, unlike the one that came with this bidet; yes it is silly to have to buy a whole other bidet just to get the right handle but I couldn't live with the one that comes with this one because it leaves you with no water pressure control except at the base unit and that is just not practical at all. I can therefore confirm that you can install any handle you like on this bidet because it is a standard thread. Finally, as far as your supply lines, you can replace the valves for the sink with ones that have two outs, one goes up to the sink and one goes to the bidet. I'm attaching pictures so that it is clear what I have done to get this installed. The pictures show that the vanity top is off but that's because this is a remodel and the vanity is new, you don't need to remove the top to get this installed.

Don't hesitate, buy this!
Excellent product, highly recommended. After living in the Middle East for a decade I don't understand why this isn't also standard equipment in this part of the world. Installed in two bathrooms three years apart, no issues, but it would be nice if the manufacturer supplied a drilling template. Hose connection riser can be rotated 360 degrees and temp/pressure regulator will go up or down. One could even mount vertically if required. Get swivel fittings, it made my second installation (Picture 1 - 3) so much easier in a tight spot above drawers.

Great Product!!
This product is very well made. I really like that you can adjust the water temperature so it doesn't literally freeze your you know what off. It definitely required additional fittings but I was able to find them at the local hardware store. I’ll add photos. The one thing that was a bummer is that it didn't come with a template to drill the holes. I was able to install this into the side of the bathroom vanity since its close to the toilet. I originally used teflon tape on the brass fittings but it leaked so I ended up taking the connector fitting off and using pipe dope thats NSF 61 compliant for potable watet systems also available at your local hardware store. Once I got all the fittings nice and tight I let the pipe dope to set up for about 1 hour. I then assembled the bidet sprayer into its final location and it fit like a glove and it functions perfectly with no leaks. Ill include pictures of all the fittings used along with a picture of the templete. I recommend it just put together your game plan together before you start cutting and drilling away! hope this helps.

Failure from the start - see my review and photos
I attached all my pictures for this to my review. I would rate this a zero but that's not an option. First of all - a screen was missing for the mixer adjustment, also what makes this a non-starter is the mixer attachment to the base is flawed, it leakes and there is no possible way to fix it. The product for the mixer is very cheap. Also you have to buy the brass fittings to connect the base to the lines so you need two of those, which is about $15, then you have to build a type of mount for it, because it's very odd as far as the base but you'll see that on the photos. Also you have to buy the lines so that will run you another $20, then you'll need to buy good teflon tape for the fittings, the installation of the faucets is tricky with the hex screen that you'll have to squeeze in but not impossible. The plate is much just a press on with no screws so it is kind of flimsy sitting but wasn't a huge deal. I spent alot of time on the build and install but it seems like a total failure - my suggestion is go with a trusted brand, look for standard fittings and a solid warrantly. The shipment took about two weeks to arrive, the packaging was sketchy like I said important pieces missing and the host for the sprayer seemed very cheap.

my GF loves this bidet hose
This unit has some nice features. Here on the Canadian border hot water was a must. The temperature/flow adjustment is very simple and easy, similar to the single-lever kitchen faucets. The button on the spray head is great: push once and it stays on until you push it again. Installation was a little tricky in an old house with thicker walls. My wall was 1" thick (metal lath + cement plaster + tile). I didn't realize until after I got it in that it's designed for a thinner wall ( < 5/8"). Mounted behind the 1" wall the trim plate didn't leave room to attach the hose, so I had to leave it off. I plumbed it with 3/8" PEX tubing so the hot water would arrive quicker from the basement, which worked well. Next time I would mount it outside the wall and make a box to hide the workings, or in the side of a vanity cabinet, or behind 1/2" or 5/8" drywall. The main thing is my GF is thrilled with it, even without the trim plate. I will definitely install more of these. Note: After one week of service, the plumbing attachments started leaking (see photo). Advice online had led me to use American (NPT male) fittings screwed into the female straight G-thread. I used plenty of pipe dope, and it didn't leak at first. It turns out the main casting cracked where the male NPT elbow screwed into the female BSP hot water inlet (see photo). I tried BSPxNPT adapters, but the cracked casting still leaked even with lots of pipe dope. I finally solved the problem by soldering the adapters into the casting (I took it apart first to avoid overheating the rubber parts). The adapters were hard to find, expensive, and took a week to arrive. I think NPT adapters should be included in units sold in USA. The unit itself is great, and I will install another.

Difficult to custom install and water connection leak problems
On the plus side, it looks great when it is mounted inside the wall, and the warm water is much better than just cold water. Another review had a picture of it recessed within the wall, and it looks good. The minus side, it is a pain to get it mounted or recessed into the wall, as it was not designed to do so. It is designed to mount flat on the wall surface with the valve and hoses exposed. To recess the valve and pipe connections and flush mount takes some calculations and fabrication. I mounted it to the sink cabinet and did not have to deal with mount framing inside the wall, running water lines, sheet rock and painting, plus I could run hoses from the sink water valves. As my sink cabinet is 3/4 inch thick, unlike the standard 1/2 inch sheet rock wall, I had to cut a recess into the cabinet face for the bidet cover plate to sit down into that gives the extra clearance for attaching the sprayer hose. I wanted the extra room at the water supply connections to be able to remove and reconnect them if needed, which turned out to be good planning for my install. For regular walls, the water supply connections will be up against the inside of the wall to allow room for cover plate and sprayer hose connection on the outside, and inside the wall shouldn't matter as it should be hard plumbed and leak tested before closing up the wall. Another minus is the water leaks at the valve input fittings, which no matter what type of 1/2 NPT fitting I screwed into it, with 2, then 4 wraps of Teflon tape, and finally some Teflon plumbers pipe thread dope and then both at the same time, it would leak. Fittings would screw almost all the way in before starting to snug up. Not sure if they are NPS threads or just screwed up from manufacture, but it sure looks and seems like NPS (Straight threads) instead of standard NPT (tapered threads). I figured as a last resort I could disassemble the valve to protect internal plastic parts and braze two brass fittings on to the brass valve body, that would definitely seal it up. Or I could buy two ORB fittings (which use o-rings) to seal it up. As it turns out, the hardware store does not sell ORB fittings, I would have to order them online or find a specialty plumping or hydraulics store. So I found some fittings in the tubing section and a multi-size pack of fiber washer seals and 'made' two fittings to seal it up. So far, no leaks. May your valve be different! Finally the sprayer head in jet mode, really strong spray with valve all the way open, it will splatter all over no matter which angle you give it into the sink or bowl, so only open the valve a third to half of the way for use. The sprayer button control is going to be an issue, if you turn off the water at the valve handle and hang up the sprayer, and somehow the valve happens to get turned back on, the sprayer will still be on and start spraying where ever it happens to be aimed at, like the wall. Make sure the button is pressed and the sprayer is off. Sprayer is press on, press off, not spring loaded to turn off. Still deciding if I will replace the sprayer head with one that has spring loaded lever. Then the advertising for this sprayer said there are two modes, soft and jet. Took a minute to figure out you twist the end of the sprayer where the water comes out, similar to a shower head sprayer. Same amount of water for either, just one large aerated stream like a sink faucet for soft and several thin streams for jet. No mention of that in the box, actually no booklet or information included besides a picture glued to the inside lid that shows the valve and tells you to attach it to the wall. Not sure if you would want younger kids around this, as you can get full hot water at max temp coming out of the sprayer pretty quick, not that they wouldn't learn pretty quick not to do it again. Keep toddlers away, like lock the bath door. You can buy a temp regulated bidet if you look around. So if I had to do it again, it would not be this assembly that I use by choice. If I had to install it again, I would braze two .5 NPT to PEX fittings onto the valve and be done with the leaks. I guess you could pay a plumber to install it and let them deal with any issues, then again issues make costs soar. UPDATE: 5 months later, still works perfectly, no leaks, still have the original sprayer head which remains on the soft spray setting. Slight learning curve to remember to turn off valve and button on sprayer, and there is the idea to buy a longer hose to allow more maneuvering room for larger guests. This item gets daily use and has held up well.

Great product! You will need to go to the hardware store for additional parts to install.
This is a really sturdy and nice looking product. I am not very handy and my other half is even less so, so I decided to install it instead of him. I watched a YouTube video on how to install and went to the hardware store for the additional parts needed. Since I'm not handy and have never done any plumbing projects before, it took a good chunk of my day to install. I blame my inexperience and the fact that 5 kids were helping me. It probably only takes about an hour for someone who knows what they are doing. It's installed on the side of my bathroom vanity and looks and works great. I'm really glad I purchased this and it's cut our toilet paper use down dramatically. I'm thinking of getting one for my mother to use as well. She likes to wash her hair in the sink and this will make it much easier for her to do so.

Best thing since the indoor toilet!
I have had several of these "personal bidets" over the years. They came in really handy during the covid panic buying of toilet paper. The problem was that they were all only hooked up to the cold water coming into the toilet tank. This new one is connected to the hot and cold from the sink. Best thing since indoor toilets! I discovered these in my travels outside the USA and thank God I had the good fortune to discover them. I highly recommend them!

Good quality
Good quality. Still in use after 3 years - works as intended. The only thing I didn't like was faceplate. It's too thick. After tiles went on - I couldn't screw the pipe on as the face plate was in a way so made my own. But that just my problem
