No Matter What

Wonderful book! We read it at night time with my two year old son, and he loves it. It is the most comforting book, and very calming too.It is the story of a little fox who becomes bored and puts his house upside down, and find wayside reasons to challenge his parent’s love. But the parents love is unwavering, in all situations and possibility.The drawing is beautiful, and the rhyming is very soothing as well.The two characters are called “large” and “small” which gives the person reading aloud the Liberty to customise a bit the story.

This is a must have , must read and experience book for all ages! Beautifully explores unconditional love for all ages. Debi Gliori is both author and illustrator and weaves her tale with beauty and grace. And cleverness - the Little one and the parent have no gender - the reader and the parent who reads aloud can imagine whether is it is the mom or dad or daughter or son... Each line of the story is poetic and laced with love and emotions...a book that you would never tire of.. my daughter often says now - " I love you no matter how I behave sometimes, ma... "

Beautifully illustrated book. Even though my baby doesn’t fully understand whats being narrated he loves just looking at the pictures. The only reason ive rated it 4 and not 5 is the binding of the book. Its very delicate and can tear off easily. It almost tore the 1st day.

The story is very simple yet effective for young kids to understand.... though size is bit big to read as bedtime story,my kiddo loves this for ber time story...n amazingly now has been able to explain his emotions ..... M glad to have this book as it helps toddlers with identifying their feelings

I bought this as a gift for my sibling who is now reading story book to their toddler. And they absolutely loved this book. ❤️

We picked this up at a secondhand bookstore for our son when he was a baby and I still read it to him. The story reads well and is a loving message. He has little brothers now so we read it to them now but it’s comforting for our oldest and he never complains about not wanting it read despite hearing it a million times.I got it for a friend’s baby shower recently (her theme was books) and didn’t hesitate on which book to get her. It isn’t well known but I hope it turns into a go-to for others like llama llama red pajama has

Great book. My two-year-old really likes it, and I think we both appreciate the message that parents still love their children even when the child is in a foul mood. There is a great deal of tenderness and humor in the illustrations. I also like that the child and parent in the book aren't gendered or identified beyond "Small" and "Large," so any child can fill in any parental figure.

Illustrations and text are an utter delight.Good that the book does not skirt around the one awkward question but also that it doesn't labour it, but treats it the same as all the other questions - and that Large doesn't mock or disregard Small's ponderings as silly questions but treats them with the seriousness and reassurance they deserve.

È il nostro libro preferito, lo avevamo già nella versione italiana e ho deciso di acquistarlo anche in inglese per leggerlo a mio figlio di 6 anni. Un ottimo modo per aiutare i bambini a familiarizzare con l'inglese in età prescolare.

I bought this book for my 2 year old for Christmas, but I could not resist. I gave it to him right away. It is just the cutest and he loved the book as well.
