Second attempt at Z390 Board
Bought a Asrock Z390 Pro, and was a dud on installation, wasted 3 hours trying to figure out what was wrong. Now with the Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X and I5-9400F. Board installed nicely, liked all the connectors marked and the color coding of the connectors. The Asrock was only black and white. I like how Gigabyte installs the backplate on the board to simplify things. Board comes RGB lighting, which wasn't a critical point for buying the board, but actually enjoy the looks of it. Colors can be changed with app in Windows. Board works good, and I have no complaints. I've found Gigabyte always built reliable quality boards for me. Some people complained about the bios, since I'm not over clocking, I set the bios and haven't messed with it.Note: This was an upgrade on a PC with windows 10. Some how Windows doesn't have the drivers installed to work with the Ethernet. You have to install the Intel Drivers first from the web, or use the CD that came with it. I'm warning people that don't have a CD drives with their builds, just be ready for this.

Perfect choice. Strong component.
I don’t really understand the ratings they give for this item, “warmth, thickness and sheerness” none of those describe what this product is meant/used for.I’m very happy with this though. I bought it forever ago and my husband was finally able to put it in my computer with a new processor. I am loving it!It was such a nice upgrade and my computer runs much more smoothly now. I was having trouble with windows crashing every now and then, and updates wouldn’t fully complete, but the first update on this went through just fine!So happy I went with this one rather than some of the others I was looking at. Great value.

Great product at reasonable price
I decided to build my new pc around a used 9600k I got from a friend. Everything worked great. Was able to OC my 9600k to 4.8 Ghz and stay around 75oC under heavy load/gaming with a 120mm AIO.All 4 dims of ram worked, switched from 1-3, to 2-4 just to test 8GB x2, XMP enabled at 3200Mhz.M.2 NVME SSD worked great, and motherboard includes a cooling pad.Gigabyte software RGB Fusion worked to switch color and mode for RAM and AIO.Really liked the design and features and would recommend if you can find it for around $130-140.

Solid board with a few small bugs. Limited audio, confusing but adequate bios.
It's a solid board. I installed an Intel 9900k. Looking over the construction, the capacitors look decent and the traces on the board are fine. I would rate the flex as medium, I would prefer a bit more thickness but it is fine.My board arrived used, and the screws and offsets were missing, even though I bought it new, but hey, it works and I'm not going to eat off it Still, weird. Not a great job either by Gigabyte or Amazon, don't know what happened there. I had offsets from a previous build so whatever. The bios still has some bugs even with the latest firmware. It doesn't always remember all your settings, and, on my board, the fan speed adjustment did not work unless you have a fan plugged into CPU1. This means if you are running a custom cable routing you risk overheating something until you get the fans straightened out. There's only six ports for hard drives, so I had to buy and extra card, no biggie but my previous board had ten ports.USB speeds are good, so far. There's one 3.1 port on the I/O shield console, a bunch of USB 3.0 and a few legacy USB, so that's good.Audio, advertised as special, is nothing special. Even worse, there is no optical out on the I/O panel even though there is plenty of room for one, so, epic fail on the audio, especially for a gaming board.Graphics: you can set the bios to use the internal graphics and a graphics card simultaneously, good for video editing or anything that needs a few extra monitors.Bios supports hot swapping for all hard drives as a switch. It's a relatively small board so make sure you have enough room for what you want to plug into it.Overclocking: the fussy bios makes this a chore, but you can get a decent overclock from this board. The bios layout really is subpar, but, in fact, it does work.I would not buy this board again, but it is fine. Will update in a few months.

Quick ship, seller had the right stock!
I had another LGA 1151 motherboard that many years after purchase we figured out it had a bad memory slot, and this was to replace it. Worked a charm!

Great for overclocking
I got this because i had some bent pins on my old z370xp sli board and needed a board that could handle my delidded 8700k and for the money this board has been amazing. Have hit new highs on my benchmarks thanks to the added 4 pin cpu power plug. it makes my 5.1ghz at 1.365 volts extremely stable and the overclock on my gpu is rock solid. Also with my ram being oc'd to 3000mhz from 2400mhz is very clean too. all in all a solid mobo for the cash.
