A Great Price !!! This book did not have the info I was looking For .

Great photos, clear and precise explanations. The book itself is great. Be careful which seller you order from, however. My book has a different hardcover than what is shown. It also mentioned that there was slight wear on the binding but didn't mention that there was a handwritten birthday message inside the cover. It did arrive very quickly, well before expected.

This is a new book with a different approach, telling of the history of manufacturing as well as outstanding representations of dolls.

Nice book. Lots of information, but would of liked more pictures of dolls. Not my favourite doll book.

1860年～1960年の間に作られた人形を10年ごとに区切って紹介されています。まずその年代の人形の特長が文章で紹介されており、そのあとにだいたい１ページに１体の割合で人形の写真とその下に説明文があります。本の前半はビスクドールが多いです。後半はやや短めのスカートをはいている人形もありますがどれもレトロな感じがして素敵です。ジュモーのようなビスクドールのコレクションが多いのかなと期待して購入したのですが、年代がずれるといろいろなタイプの人形が出てきます。キューピーちゃんまで登場してました(もちろんアンティーク)。写真はすべてカラーで、しかも美しい。人形の移り変わりがよくわかって資料価値もある１冊です。
