My German Shepherd loves this ball more than me!! He cannot wait until I go outside and toss the ball for him to run after. He is absolutely smitten by this ball - and the best part is - it truly is indestructible! Try as he may this ball is impervious to punctures of any kind! Yes, it is expensive, BUT, make no mistake about it - you'll only have to buy it once and your dog will love it!! ARRFF! This ball is excellent for my German Shepherd, who wants to keep the ball in her mouth all the time like a Binky. She destroys all the other balls like Kong and tennis balls. A tennis ball will last about five minutes in her mouth before she’s chewing it apart. Goughnuts has made a very strong very dense ball that your heavy, aggressive chewing dog will love. It is worth the money. Try it and you will see after a month it will still be intact and unpunctured.

Pretty heavy, so although not great for actually playing catch, is an amazing toy for giving them something to nose around or just carry and chew on, which is perfect for my pups. It's been over a week now, and though I can see some surface scratches, they haven't managed to gouge the ball in any way, which is better than I can say for any other toy I've ever purchased.

I made sure to give this product a fair amount of time to get destroyed. Our dog is a pretty heavy chewer and high energy. It was delivered November 2nd and it is now November 21st. Our dog loves rubber balls in general but especially loves this ball because of the ridging on it, it makes her believe it's destroyable and has a weak point. She tries so hard to chew off the ridging but so far has not been successful. I've included a photo of the worst damage she's inflicted so far which is a puncture mark and small gouge, but if you've seen just how much and how hard she has been chewing on this ball you would undoubtedly be as impressed as I am! I've heard great things about this product from folks in the dog community with heavy chewers and I have been similarly delighted. I highly recommend this product!

Great toy. Really, really durable. However, mars broke it in a few months. Looks like I gotta buy another.

We have a Bull Terrier that has torn a Kong in two with ease. He's going through a phase where his favorite toys are balls, and this ball, like other Goughnuts products is truly indestructible. It's the right size for him and our Rottweiler, big enough but not huge. The green with the red swirls is a pretty trippy pattern. Very happy with Goughnuts products and slowly will replace all our dog toys with them. If our bull terrier can't chew through this thing, I doubt any other dog can. Given this is more of a rubber material, when they drop the ball on the wood floor, it doesn't make a terrible clanging sound either, which is much appreciated.

My dog destroyed it in 2 weeks

We adopted a dog a week ago. Within two days every single chew toy we'd gotten for him was dead. Squeaky ball, tennis ball, "indestructible" balls and toys, they were all gone. I read reviews about other indestructible balls, and several reviewers said the Goughnut Black 50 was the way to go. So, for our maniacal fetch and chew loving pup, we got one of these. Holy smokes. A week later it not only still exists, but it looks GREAT! He can't make a mark on it. And this thing has been used for hours of fetch and chewing. He wants to play fetch, this is the ball we go for. He wants to chew on one, this is it. Update: Six months later. I've now bought four of these, according to Amazon. Why? Because they're awesome. One is at our cabin. Because heaven forbid the dog is without a ball. More accurately, for our sanity, the dog is never without a ball. Two are here at our house. One more is en route from Amazon. Because, one of the ones we have actually got chewed into. It's usable, it's still a solid ball, and I'm not sure he could rip it much more, but I also don't know that it'd bounce like I want it to. So I got another and this one will be relegated to back up. This one ball is the only one to actually show a mark of any of the Goughnut products we have (three balls, two figure 8 tug of war toys, and one stick). The rest all look brand new. Maybe the ball had a bad day during production. I don't know. Considering my dog can chip through actual bones, these hold up remarkably well. Astonishingly well. I don't know if I'll buy another brand for my exceptionally aggressive chewer.

Amazingly durable ball. Bought it for a Pittbull/boxer mix, she's an amazing dog but she destroys all of her toys in no time at all. She plays with this everyday and it still looks new. The ball is holding up better then I ever could have imagined. Great value as we're not replacing balls anymore and more importantly, the dog loves it.

This is the only toy we have purchased, that has met the manufacturers claims. Totally worth the purchase price.

Great quality

This is a miracle ball, it's tough, yet soft to the touch and surprisingly bouncy. Highly recommended and worth the price! I've spend $100+ on various balls that only last few hours of play at best. Spend $40 on this ball and it last weeks or months. 5 stars per my GSD :)
