Patti Labelle's Lite Cuisine: Over 100 Dishes with To-Die-For Taste Made with To-Die-For Recipes

There's SO much to love about this cook book!!! There has been a lot of care taken with the recipes to space out directions to make them easier to follow, many ingredient suggestions, substitution suggestions and so forth. The reason I gave it 2 stars rather than 5 (I think I am being generous) is that the Kindle version is impossible to navigate. The recipes are not numbered in any way, they just run on through the book. The back index lists the recipes in alphabetical order but good luck finding them. Perhaps the paper version is better organized, but this is a mess. Too bad, because the recipes ARE good, I just don't have time to peruse through this whole book looking for them when othercook books are better organized. I wouldn't recommend the Kindle version until/if they fix it.

She gives OUTSTANDING recipes to help you keep it healthy, and enjoy the wonderful taste at the same time! Enjoy Life!

Not what I expected. It's more like a book to read stories about her and less like a cookbook.

Im not thrilled with this cookbook, i will say its worth the price i paid for my used copy. I wish it had qlossy pages and some color photos the cover is very deceptive. I will try the roast caesar chicken and a few of the reduced sugar desserts,i wanted to try her other books now im not so sure.

I am a fanatic and I have one of these books says the first one she ever put out. I told myself when I first get my house I’m going to get the books and they will be on display in the kitchen. Currently they are house where everyone can see them.

This compilation of recipes gives diabetes some much needed Flava! Every recipe speaks to me in a diffent way slowing me to eat foods that I never thought I would eat again and enjoy! Thank You Patti! I'm even thinking of starting a cooking blog and write about each recipe!

I love her recipes. Very easy to follow and cook, plus, the meals are very tasty. I also learned different types of techniques on what type of tool to use, such as, a Dutch oven. I bought one and I love using it. She, also, motivated me to buy a canning set, because, she uses alot of can goods, such as, chicken and beef stock, tomatoes and more, in a can. Those items are loaded with high sodium and carbs.

Got this as a gift to my wife. Greatly appreciated.
