Laser Quest Every Day!
Bolt LaserArrives nicely packed in a shiny box but with no batteries. It takes four AA, by the way. I couldn't see any clear indication of how the batteries fitted in, but it wasn't rocket science to guess. It's fairly noisy, but my cat just ignored the noise. The batteries last a reasonable time, several weeks for me.One press for fifteen minutes. If I am a little critical, it's because the laser is set too high. It would have been nice to place it on a bookcase or coffee table, but it has to be placed on the floor. Even at it's lowest setting, the laser is off up the walls at times. At it's highest, it's pretty ridiculous. To project down from a bookcase, it needs to be leaned over at about 45 degrees, which obviously is not possible. The best toy I have ever bought them, and certainly well worth the money. The local young cats come in to play Laser Quest every day. There is my 1 year old and two others that come in. It's a huge hit. They all love it. I would say it gets about one to two hours of play every day! Spread a few toys about and it's enough to keep them busy most of the day. It's brilliant!Highly recommended.

My cat loves it - but the battery life is really short
Jim was unsure about this at first and hid from it, but he's obsessed with it now. I'm away at work 8 hours a day so I got this because of the setting that turns it on periodically. It keeps him active and stops him from going stir-crazy during the day alone (he's an indoor cat). The only bad things are the noise from the motor (it doesn't scare him but it does distract him from the laser sometimes) and the battery life. It takes 3 AAA batteries and dies after a couple of days (luckily I also bought rechargeable batteries).

Cats love it, until they get immune to it
I have two cats who are very playful, they go crazy with any pinpoint light so I decided to buy this. The product itself is easy to use, put in the 3x Aaa batteries and it’s all set. Moves in all directions and changes to flickering laser light. However, it’s quite noisy and can be annoying at times. The worst part though is that the product life isnt long. The lasers have stopped working. Perhaps it’s the lense that got burnt. Now I have a useless product that moves without laser coming out. Changing batteries did not fix the problem. What a shame, good idea for a product but poor quality.

Does what is expected
This is ok, it’s quite noisy from the motor, cats were more intrigued by the noise at first then they spotted the light. It works ok wouldn’t say it’s fantastic but it does what it is expected to do

Light moves too fast
I wish this has had more than 1 setting, my cat kept getting frustrated with the speed (she's 6 years old). If it had a slow setting I think she would have been a lot happier.

Great
I tried many others which kept breaking down, this one is absolutely great I would totally recommend it. I have two American ragdoll cats and they absolutely love it.

Very successful purchase
My cat has enjoyed this more than anything else I’ve ever bought him and shows no sign of losing interest after 2/3 weeks of daily play (fifteen minutes each evening). Although he can go outside whenever he wants, at nearly 13 years old he’s become more lazy so the laser is a good way for him to get a bit of exercise too. The batteries are ok so far, but I don’t know how long they will last before needing replacing. The quality overall seems very good.

Too quick for a kitten
Bought this to entertain a hyper kitten but the laser moves so fast that she keeps losing it and she'll get bored and walk away. Will no doubt be fine for when she is older and more capable but if you're looking to keep your kitten entertainment for 15 with this product then it might not do the job.
