Don't spend more money on other ones, this one is great!
I love this arm! I use it with a Dolica tripod and it works great. Super sturdy and simple to use. As usual, I looked at a ton of these and read a million reviews. There were many that were priced much higher but I was looking for an economical option, this was it! It does the job and is very easy to operate.

Good for the price, not heavy duty
This arm is exactly what I needed for my table photography. The only good use that I have found for this arm is on a horizontal level and that's all. You can clamp the sides to two stands and slide the center piece from side to side. It well built and not as heavy as it looks but it did pretty well with my Canon 5D MK II with a 16-35mm lens on it and a speedlight. Just don't overload it too much as the center piece mount doesn't seem like it can hold too much weight. Don't lift it up off the table too much in case that the stands and bar fail. You don't want your equipment hitting the floor or table from a high place. Recommended for the price, but if you need to have heavy equipment on it get something more of a heavy duty.

Makes overhead video shots super easy!
Works exactly as described. It's very easy to install to the tripod camera plate and the rod slides very easily into the preferred position. You may need to add several water bottle weights if you have a heavier DSLR camera like I have (Canon T5i) but it holds it very easily. I've never experienced bending or anything like that with the heavy camera. The screw threads are plenty long for a secure attachment to the camera. All in all, this was perfect for my filming needs and I love it! I would recommend this for anyone who needs to do overhead shots (planner videos, knitting/sewing demonstrations, etc.)

Perfect for my needs
Performs exactly as advertised. I was looking for a way to do overhead videos and this was the perfect option for my Sony a6500.Some of these overhead mounts costs a small fortune. As a budget purchase, this performed well!Perfect for my needs

This arm is a bit of a disappointment for me
This arm is a bit of a disappointment for me. I bought it with the intention of getting some weird angles over my shoulder to shoot a time lapse of my artwork. It lacks the strength, stability, durability and ease of use I was hoping for. I've since had to purchase a slightly more expensive option that I wish I had gone with in the first place. That being said, if you plan on using it straight out for product shots and don't need to move positions often it should do the trick. My advice, however, would be to go with something else. This is a one trick pony and there are tripod extenders and friction arms out there with more bang for your buck.

As Advertised
The camera mount did exactly what I needed it to do. It arrived on time and in condition and worked perfectly for my purposes. It was great value for money and I would 100% buy it again.

This is a dynamite product
I read the reviews before I purchased and the negative ones were prevalent over positive ones. I needed a bar to take either portrait or floor shots so I took a chance and purchased this product. From the previous reviews I took a different approach to mounting to my Ravelli tripod and Canon camera (EF 24-105 L IS USM Lens). I also purchased a GKGK G07 tripod handle and a Monfrotto screw adapter to attach to this bar. When I put it all together I did experience the looseness other reviewers wrote about so I went to the hardware store and bought some flat and lock washers to solve this problem. I used a level and squared the horizontal and vertical axis and left it be overnight. When I checked in the morning all was still square to both axis. How I connected; flat washers to tripod head connector, removed cushion washer and used lock washer to Monfrotto adapter, lock washer to tripod plate on G07 tripod handle. I hope this works for anyone else who wants to give this bar a try. You will need to use a screwdriver to tighten all connections. You will also need a counterweight when extending more than halfway of bar on tripod and as another reviewer stated a remote shutter release.
