Finally got the required heat back in the tip. tested resistance on old one and it was fine but was getting consistent heat. This oem item brought back my station to the proper working order! Especially when i only have one to use. ty

Functional and came with a T18-B tip
Amazon shipped the item in a non-padded envelope, so the OEM box was mangled but the product looked and functioned fine. Mine showed up with a nice new T18-B conical tip.

Excellent soldering iron when used with the associated station. This is an additional iron to enable swooping for alternative tip type . Used one of these for routine through hole and some surface mount work for several years and found totally adequate and reliable.
