Great product for the money, not hard to zero if.......
Great product for the money. Simple durable and works. People complained about zeroing issues. Here is what you do, pull out the allen head recessed adjusting screws (by the way these screws act as an electrical ground for the laser and laser wont turn on without adjuster screws in place and tight..it's normal, it's referred to as a "case ground". Anyway, coat them with blue loctite (not red loctite..red is too tough for these screws, blue or purple is perfect) let them dry to at least "tacky", screw them back in then start the zeroing(adjusting). when you have them tight and zeroed, screws will stay in place (and can be adjusted in the future) with the loctite. By the way, an easy way to adjust laser is to adjust your "iron" sites on your rifle first(which are usually pretty perfect right out of the box) then adjust your laser to display it's red dot exactly where your iron sites line up to when looking at a target. That's about dead on. Slight tweeking is required when your target is at different distances away. But you have to adjust a high priced rifle scope the same way...that's the way it is when two parallel lines are intersecting. line of site from scope/laser versus line of site from gun barrel. The barrel is straight and the laser line comes in at an angle, so the exact point of intersection (20 yards, 50 yards, etc) is completely up to you.

Exceeded expectations
Absolutely exceeded expectations. Very simple to attach to any barrel, you need to put a little muscle into it to make it tight but it works excellently. The range and intensity of the beam overall exceeded all expectations I had for it. Obviously it won't work incredibly well during the day but it's still visible and at night it's top notch. Would definitely recommend to any airsofter.

I was pretty happy w/ it... mostly
Great deal for the price I payed! I mounted this laser to my small breakover yildiz .410 single shot.-The Negative: My .410 barrel was too small and this laser bracket wouldn't tighten down far enough to hold tight. Fixed by wrapping duct tape around barrel to make up thickness required, worked great. Next, the switch is a little loose/sensitive and if I jerk the gun suddenly or have the switch turned in the wrong direction the recoil can turn off the laser. Fixed by turning the switch (which is part of the screw on, removable back cap) horizontally... so recoil doesn't affect the switch at all. One could also turn the entire laser a bit in the bracket to the desired position. Last, the laser diffuses quite a bit once you get past 20-30yds. Goes from dot sized to about nickle sized. Fixed by remembering that I only payed $15 for this item and I'm happy again hehe.-The Positive: This item was well priced, and is brighter than I anticipated. Perfect for dusk/night shooting and mucho fun. The laser has a relatively short effective distance... but so does my shotgun. So they go together perfectly. Easy to sight in... since I mounted to my shotgun (which spreads a pattern of shot) it didn't need to be SUPER dead on, so I just used my eye to sight it in and its great. I found it easy to sight in with the 4 setscrews (don't over tighten!) and it's great for some of my family who are horrible shots but now just have to point and pull the trigger. Laser stands up good to recoil but I would recommend following a previous reviewer's suggestion and using locktite on the threads because mine did walk its way down off center gradually. It's a quick install using the bracket, and a great quality for the cost.Recommend to: Those just wanting to mess around. Great for shotguns, but you might get a little frustrated if you want perfection and long distance accuracy. I say buy it. I hope this review was helpful

Mounted this to a Bug a salt gun. Took the gun to whole new level of fun! I had the same problem as others the mount is too big for the laser even if you tighten it all the way. Not a big deal 1 wrap of tape around the laser under the mount it was good. Looks its 10 bucks and i bought it for a salt gun that i shoot a 2 feet. it worked perfect. If you need a laser for a AR go spend some money on something else.

Coherent Beam, Undistorted Dot: Reviewing as A Cat Toy, However
I bought it for the purpose of using it as a cat toy. I like the idea that I can switch it on and not have to worry about keeping my finger pressing on it. So, for that purpose, it works great. As a laser pointer/sight, the beam seems to be fairly coherent for long distances and the dot is round and not distorted as is common with cheaper products.

buy the acid tactical instead.
Hard to sight in and i dont think it would hold up to much more than a rimfire for more than 5-6 shots. im giving it 2 stars based strictly on the mounting bracket it fits barrel contours well and is solid, ironically this laser doesnt fit well had to put a layer of tape around it as a spacer. i wouldnt by it again i got one from on here from acid tactical for about $20 at the time that is as good as $100 lasers(so far).
