Defective from the start
It seemed like a cool project at first but it did not worked from the start. A component was send that was defective. After blowing up 3 fuses this was a waist of money. Trouble shooting should be for after use when you get a good use of it. And then have to fix it. Not fix a sold broken product.

Great DIY kit!
I backed tinyTesla when it was still on Kickstarter for my teenage son, who's also interested in Arduinos, 3D printing and other DIY projects.He had a blast putting it together and now, playing music. Instructions were very helpful, as well as oneTesla's forum. Through a laptop, he connected tinyTesla to an electronic keyboard and took some videos that he put on YouTube. I'm glad to see the kit in stock on Amazon because his friends want them too!

Worked the first night I assembled it, next morning the end cap broke apart and broke the wire. I spend months repairing it but never got it working again after that. $300 for 5 minuets of lights.
