Interesting Read
Using this book to teach a high school Philosophy course. Book needs a re-vamp. Text is hard to read. Drawings don't appeal to teens. Organization is a bit tough for teens to follow.

Not even sure who reads reviews for textbooks, but I actually ended up buying this book (I originally rented it) after my class that required it ended because I liked it so much. Really turned me on to philosophy. It's a broad and easily understood philosophy book, seriously, it's a complicated subject and this breaks it down nicely for you. No bias at all, just presents the information.

There was quite a bit of scribble in the book, but other than that it was perfect. The convenience of renting the book was amazing!

Expensive but more than worth it!
I don't agree with some of Donald Palmer's opinions, but I take my hat off to his educational skill, and his imagination. It is a great help for students struggling with, or overawed by, technical philosophical terminology and concepts.
