This is a complete collection of the beautiful watercolors of beetles (with a couple of scorpions) by Bernard Durin that has to be seen to be believed.

From the moment you flip the first pages you realize you are in for a treat. The quality paper stock, the somewhat oversized pages, and the beautifully rendered art is equaled only by the production values of this book. Love this book, cannot recommend it highly enough.

The illustrations in this book are seriously amazing. The amount of detail in each image is so incredibly fine that you feel you need to get a magnifying glass too see everything. Love this book and it will be treasured in my shelf for many, many years

This book is beautifully done and the drawings of the insects exquisite..very clearly presented and useful for anyone interested in the natural world and also for artists to see the work of another artist working in his medium to the enth degree.

This refers to the edition with the Ladybird on the front cover. Stunning high quality book with amazing illustrations of bugs, some widely recognised, and others, new bugs to learn about. The illustrations seem to pop off the page, and make this the perfect coffee table book, reference book, or simply a book to covet.

Los dibujos son impresionantes y la edición muy cuidada. Realmente merece la pena, incluso aunque no te gusten los insectos.
