Beautiful. The jigging was white/gray in color when the knife arrived, but I just applied mineral oil and they turned jet black like the polished portions of the horn. The black and silver combination is stunning. The blade arrived sharp and uniformly ground. I am pleased.

Beautiful knife. I just wish Case would do a better job of sharpening their knives before shipping them out.

The Case barlow is probably my favorite pattern. This one is gorgeous. Fit and finish are excellent and the polish is beautiful.

Case is a great knife

This is a fine knife. I like it and don’t regret the purchase but there are some things people should be aware of that may be a deal breaker for them. Cons: - Knife did NOT come sharp, there was a huge burr along the edge and tip (fibers can be seen in the video). This is a pattern with Case knives I’ve bought and it’s not a problem for me to do a bit of sharpening - but may be an issue for others. - Light can be seen between plating as demonstrated in the video, not a major issue for me - Overall quality is questionable for the price point when compared to other similar offerings (Böker or Northwoods) Pros: - Overall a very nice looking knife, aside from the XX on the bolster in my opinion. The damascus looks very cool and pairs well with the bone scales. - Accessible - Classic folders that have this look and feel are very hard to come by. As a con it’s more expensive and lower quality than say a Northwoods knife, but access to those is almost impossible. Overall I like this knife as a collector, but it’s obvious that the price you pay does not result in the quality one would expect. This overall seems to be a pattern with Case knives.

I was so excited to get my first case knife. The knife was not colored even close to the picture. Also shame on case the knife came dull and unshared. Started the return , and it is such as hassle with this seller I just kept it and I’ll regift the dam thing. I thought case knifes were supposed to be great. Nope.

The quality of the knife is good, however, the blade wasn’t ground evenly or sharp. Took my husband 30 minutes to fix the blades.

Nice mid grade knife. Holds an edge with normal use but I have a tendency to push my knives and use them in ways not intended, so I tend to break them eventually
