I was using an extra diaper bag and a small cooler as my pumping carrier and was becoming frustrated with the amount of luggage I was carrying around in addition to baby and her stuff. I didnt want to spend the $130 for the Medela pump bag, but came close to it. I found this bag and was nervous about the reviews that said the Medela pump in style advance is a tight squeeze. I got the large anyways and glad that I did. Everything fits comfortably! My pump and cords go on top, my bottles, attachments and ice pack go in the cooler area. I even bring my lunch and a soda in the cooler area. My wallet and keys go in the netted area inside so this bag is also my purse. I never leave reviews, but this was such a relief and can continue to be useful once I stop pumping.

I got the large size bag for my "Advanced Personal Double Breast Pump" from Medela (the one I got through my insurance). The pump easily fits in the top portion, and when I am just going to work, I keep my storage cups, a cloth, and the bottles in the bottom. Easy peasy--tidy, convenient, all that.What I really want to talk about is the non-routine performance of this bag. I've taken this sucker through a dozen different airports (the bag fits upright under most airplane seats, which is important after I had one storage cup leak), had to leave it in a car on a hundred degree day for over an hour, had to keep it in a corner of someone's office for an entire day, and had to go two days without access to a freezer to chill the milk and refreeze my ice pack overnight. Through all of these, if I have a solidly frozen ice pack at the beginning, the milk has stayed cool. The insulated portion on the bottom is excellent. I have a contoured ice pack with curves to fit three bottles on each side; for airline travel, I instead use three ounce cups. I keep the ice pack in the middle and stack the cups two deep--I can carry 12 3oz cups and keep them all chilled without worry. When I do this, I can fit the pump bottles in the top with the pump--I need to remove the shields so they'll fit without being squished, but it still works. And because the insulated portion is lined with a moisture-proof material, when I did have a storage cup leak, cleaning out the bag was an easy and quick task.It's a great bag for daily pumping at work, it's also a great pump when you're traveling. It breaks my heart to have to leave my baby as often as I do for overnight trips, but at least I know I'll have save, properly chilled food for her when I get home!

I purchased this bag because of the insulation component. I am not someone who uses a breast pump, but I do need to keep insulin at a safe temperature and keep my meter and strips cool while out and about. I like how I’m able to use the bottom portion with a couple of ice packs and know my medicine is safe. I live in Florida and it’s really hot right now. I was using a top rated product from my pens but it did not keep my insulin cool enough. I have gone out for 10+ hours and come home to find my insulin still cool. Not having to stress about disposing of bad insulin because it got hot is so nice because insulin is not cheap. Even with three ice packs and my pen, I’m able to put an apple juice in the bottom section which I need for hypo events. In the top section I have a full sized wallet, my meter supplies, keys, a small sharps container, and other items. The back pocket is really nice because I can keep my phone and a debit card for easy access.I gave this 4 stars because I can’t attest to the actual breast pump storage. However, for my needs it’s really great. I wish it was a little bigger but it gets the job done!

I wanted this bag to take to work. It seems to fit everything I need to pump but it’s a tight squeeze. So I ended up getting a second pump that I leave at work and only carry the breast shields, connectors, bags, pads and valves in this bag. A dry snack sometimes. The ice pack was not included which I didn’t mind since I have one already. I live in MN so it’s been cold up here but it seems to keep the milk cold until I get home. Not sure how it will do in the summer. It was kind of disappointing that it was a bit small but other than that I like the product it is sturdy and the color is nice.

I love love love this backpack! It makes it easy to hold all my pumping accessories in one bag that isn't bulky or awkward to carry. I only wish it were slightly larger - I have a Hygeia pump, so it's on the larger end. I did have to restitch part of the seam on the front pocket, but I don't even mind that because the bag makes pumping so much easier. When I've had to pump in a restroom stall, it was easy to hang the bag on a door hook and do my thing without touching too much in the stall. Most importantly, it keeps my liquid gold cold for HOURS - even on road trips. Highly recommend it to anyone planning on pumping! Great purchase!

I have the medela breast pump and it fits in the top part perfect. You just have to put the bottom in first. So when you unzip the front the handle is the thing sticking out. I put a little travel size soap in the that section as well. I don’t like how difficult it is to get into the bottom section on the bag to access your bottles and flanges. Maybe if it had sturdy plastic corners so it stay upright it would be much better. It also could get a bit tight with the flanges and bottles down below. But other than that great bag for everything I would need to pump at work.

This may be a breast pump bag. But it has been that and so much more for my family. The value for the money spent is priceless, I used to to hold my pump and milk to abs from office. Then I use it as my lunch bag during the day I get home and my husband changes the ice packs and contents and uses it for a lunch bag at night. We’ve had it over six months now and it’s been extremely durable and is holding up to constant everyday use.

I was uncertain after reading the product description whether or not the medium backpack would fit the Freemie Independence breast pump. However, the entire pump fits with plenty of room. There's even enough space for keys, phone, and a small wallet in the upper compartment without it being crammed. Glad I ordered the medium because the large would've been huge.
