Chocolate Brown 100% Silk Pillowcase for Beauty Sleep Queen

I have fine hair and its wavy and for years I always kept it very short, now that it's longer I wake up every day with a knot at the back of my head and have to deep condition my hair and painfully detangle my hair. This caused an intense amount of breakage. And a lot of frustration. I bought this pillow case along with some cheaper 'satin' like pillow cases to save my hair. This was by far the best of all three purchased for comfort, washability, and keeping my hair smooth and soft. The like satin pillow cases catch easily on dry skin. The real silk and real satin do not catch. They also remain cool while you sleep. This pillow case tucks into itself to keep the pillow inside the case. The color is rich and has stayed well through washing. I have gentle cycled them in a lingerie bag with Woolite. Really, the improvement in my hair has been incredible. I wish I'd done this sooner.

Hands down not having your hair pulled or mussed, or your oils stipped from your skin is best. Thus... with your face down a silk pillow is best. I was actually advised a number of years ago by a dermatologist to use a silk pillow for my sensitive skin. I have been using it ever since. I recently got this lovely brown one as I elected to douse my hair with Manic Panic Dye and did not feel like dealing with a stained pillow. This is a nice case, albeit a tad large for my pillow. no matter, it does the job.

This is a nice pillow case and it matches my brown comforter set well, but I have noticed absolutely no difference in my hair since I started using it. I bought it to try a and help with tangles while I sleep, but I have the same amount that I had when I was using a cotton pillow case. Although I wasn't expecting a miracle, I was hoping for some kind of difference.

After hearing about how 'silk' pillow cases cure this problem, I began my search for the perfect ones for a price that wouldn't break my piggy bank.Trust me, I searched the internet for the 'chocolate brown' colour I wanted & there wasn't a lot out there. When I came across "Feeling Pampered" on Amazon.com I couldn't believe it. The availability & price was a dream come true. The delivery time was a bit shorter than expected & inside.. the cases were in individual organza bags.. nice touch!Cynthia J.

I got this as a treat for myself, and not sure about the wrinkles(as I have none), but my HAIR definitely is seeing the benefits. Before - I used to wake up to a mess of frizzy hair after taking a shower before bed. Now, I can take a shower (I have shoulder length hair), and go to bed with wet hair. In the morning, no frizz, nor is there ever a typical bedhead anymore! The first thing I used to do when I woke up is brush my hair, because it was such a mess - no more! Worth every penny, as the quality is great. I wash it on gentle cycle warm/cool water with the rest of the bedsheets and after 4 washes, it still looks brand new.

Washed twice, doesn't look like it will hold up; looks faded already. I thought the expensive one would hold up better.

I got two of the pillowcases last month and they are very nice. Great feel and the glove design makes it less likely to slip off. A few people had mentioned that the color is not as it appears online, it does in fact have a slightly redder hue. The stitching isn't very careful, the lines are straight, but one pillowcase has already unraveled in a half inch area. Not from weak silk, just from the end of thread not being knotted /secured correctly. For the price, it's an amazing product - you could easily spend $95 a pillowcase and not know the difference.

I feel like royalty sleeping on these silk sheets and pillowcases! First experience with silk sheets and I am so pleased! they launder well too. I used a couple of drops of dawn dish soap (safe for the environment and for wildlife) because I didn't have any woolite and I wanted to wash and use them right away. It was chilly outside last night and the sheets were chilly when I got into bed but they warm up very quickly.....unlike satin which is too cold for winter sleeping. I expect these to last a long time. if and when I do buy these again, I will buy the same kind from the same seller.
