Quality or price, that is the question. I went for quality.
The MOMO Competition wheel is expensive, but very well made. There is no discernable flex at all. The perforated leather cover provides good traction for your hands. It's not sewn-on, it is bonded in a way that seems set to last a long time, and the installation flawless. Lack of stitching makes for a uniform and smooth grip, even on the inside of the rim. The underlying foam is very firm, with almost no compressibility. However, subtle sculpting makes it feel really great in my hands, while the firmness preserves steering feel. The black anodized aluminum finish is easily damaged, which is my one complaint, but I don't know how it compares to other brands in that regard. So far, I'm glad I spent the money for a premium wheel. Oh, and I'm very glad it doesn't have that garish MOMO logo on the lower spoke.

and it has worked great in both applications
I have used this wheel in a track-prepped Miata and my restoration project 1974 BMW 2002, and it has worked great in both applications. Attractive, high quality components and thick perforated leather rim make for a wheel that is as comfortable to hold and turn, even when some muscle is required (the 2002 has no power steering, so parallel parking is a little bit of a workout), as it is to look at.

Feels great, Sits lower than stock wheel
I much prefer this over the stock Miata steering wheel and it feels much better in the hands. However, the stock wheel like many factory wheels is mounted slightly off-center vertically when it is straight ahead. The Momo is perfectly centered on the steering column. As a result it sits lower than the stock wheel and depending on how tall you are, it may cut off the top of the tach and speedo. It is also flatter so you will have less clearance to the turn signal and wiper stalks and you may find yourself occasionally activating them with your knuckles.

Perfect wheel for my '85 Iroc
I used this with a quick detach nrg hub in my Iroc and could not be happier. The diameter and thickness and perfect and the style is awesome.

Professional not Profitable
I knew when buying this steering wheel that it was going to be a product that someone took the time to do it right. Those fake $40 steering wheels that they sell everywhere aren't just bad quality, but are unsafe due to being able to bend the actual wheel. When I received this product in the mail, I tried twisting and bending it and it's a very solid piece of equipment, plus real leather. Keep up the good quality work. Now days it's all about profit and less quality.

For the money, should be better
Pros:- Sturdy- Improved feel and responsiveness over stock ('93 Nissan 240SX)- AppearanceCons:- Very thin finish on exposed portion of wheel. When installing allen head screws, they wore off the finish when seating in the countersink.- Leather is bonded/glued/epoxied at inner seam on wheel. For this money, I would have expected some type of stitching. Momo steering wheels used have this, perhaps they are trying to cut costs without regard to quality from the eye of the customer.- Additionally, the Momo hub adapter did not have a large enough surface area on the backside where the copper ring is located. This meant horn and cruise control buttons would not work.
