Vitamix Ascent Series Blending Cup, 600 mL, BPA-Free Plastic, 600 milliliters, Clear

As soon as you open the box you know that you are getting a top quality product. The cup itself feels very strong and has substance to it, no flimsy plastic here. The top is also rugged and durable and closes very securely with an excellent seal. The downside to this is that sometimes it's a little difficult to open when you want to take a drink but you can be assured it's never going to pop open by accident. To use it as a blending cup you need to have bought the blade base, which comes separately, either with the 2-pack of the 600ml cups or the 2-pack of the 250 ml cups. I have found that if you use this with the blade base to make a smoothie directly in the cup then you do have to cut the ingredients into smaller pieces than you would if you were blending in the 2lt jug - though this is to be expected. I'm very pleased with my purchase, I think it's going to last a very long time! Some people comment that the Vitamix machines don't detect the these blending cups very well and I did have that problem to start. The solution was to make sure you screw the blade base onto the blending cup very securely, if it's not on tight enough the machine won't recognise it.

I love these cups plus the smaller ones too. There are many occasions when it is useful to use a smaller container. They really add to the versatility of the blender (mine the 2300i).I read all the negative reviews and realise the reviewers have all used these in wrong way! The photo of the snapped blade clearly shows the blade tip had hit something extremly hard while switched on (for what reason, who knows).If you have the blender just get these, you will definitely be glad you did. Dont listen to the bogus negative reviews.

The media could not be loaded. Love the long cup for quick blends and smoothies. My only gripe is the metal components in the rim of the cup has wet rust. I noticed this after the 2nd time I used it and there’s no opening that I can see to get in there and clean it. 🙁 This area should be sealed but there’s obviously a leak there somewhere, it’s working ok otherwise. I just hope this does not hinder the operation and it’s already quite temperamental to start with. You have to ensure it’s screwed closed tightly before it connects to the main vitamix motor. So let’s see.

Bit fiddly to get the alignment sorted, but once you get the knack it works really well

I like my Vitamix but wanted more versatility so I bought the 225ml bowl set.Before I did, I asked the question on Amazon - does the base fit the 600ml blending cups? The answer came back - yes.It appears I asked the wrong question ...I should have asked 'does the base work with the cups I got as part of my initial purchase?"My blending bowl starter kit arrived today and, yes, the base does fit the 600ml blending cups that I got as part of the package when I bought the machine.HOWEVER - the 600ml cups that come with the machine don't appear to have the metal sensor embedded into the lip of the cup. As a result, the base fits the cup but it does not trigger the safety interlock to allow the machine to run. The whole idea behind getting the small cups was to allow me to use the base for them and the 600ml cups and thus give me more versatility.Vitamix doesn't sell bases separately; in fact nearly everything comes as a 'package' which includes bits that you don't want or already have.They make no mention of the fact that some cups may or may not be usable with the base system. In fact, specifically manufacturing two cups which - to all intents and purposes look exactly the same but aren't interchangeable - smacks of intent to deceive.I'm torn; I like the machine but I don't like the tactics and ethics of the company and the way they trade so find that I cannot endorse them or recommend them to anyone.

I have purchased one of these along with the smaller containers. Added flexibility for the ability to make different volumes of liquids. The smaller ones are fab for salad dressings and this one for pancake mix (if only making a few) and for smoothies to go. Easy to use and never had any problems with either container.

This blender is great, I use it a lot and really like it. It's efficient, powerful, and easy to clean.My only annoyance is that I mainly use this to grind oatmeal, flaxseed, and sunflower seeds for my breakfast. However, no matter how tight I close the lid, some flax seeds always seem to get into the screw of the lid while blending. So I always end up with 5-10 unground seeds after blending.Not the end of the world, just annoying. Otherwise, the blender is great

Ho acquistato il Vitamix anni fa per uso professionale ma la brocca non andava bene per dosi ridotte. Ho acquistato questo kit dopo qualche resistenza a causa del prezzo che a mio parere è un pò troppo caro ma devo dire che è molto buono e funziona bene con le piccole quantità.

El producto ha llegado intacto pero las embalajes estabam violadas

Sono perfette per la preparazione di piccole quantità, molto comodo e pratico il coperchio per conservare quello che avanza.

Ich habe A3500i Vitamix Maschine, aber die Becher ist leider mir allein viel zu groß wenn ich nur als Frühstück Smoothie machen will. Deswegen stehe die Maschine meistens nur im Schrank. Dann habe ich mich entschieden, diese kleine Becher zu kaufen. Ehrlich sagen, es ist sehr teuer, aber die Qualität ist wirklich super, ich benutz die Maschine viel öfter als vorher seit ich die To-Go Becher gekauft habe, ich bin damit zufrieden.
