We bought a can of espresso pre-ground, fine used the scoop amount and tapped - 90 to 95 percent as good as the nespresso (boyfriend said as good/couldn't tell the difference). We love the green element and the brush which makes cleanup easy/ once espresso dries

I have a can of excellent Lavazza espresso that I'm using with the refillable pods. It's much cheaper and tastes much better than any of the Nespresso pods; and since the pods are refillable, it's better for the environment.

I've tried several time and getting the right amount of coffee to make a good cup has eluded me. It either comes out too weak or it ends up being too packed and the water does not come out. I'll have to keep trying to see if I can indeed dial it in. I imagine this is really a function of the type of coffee, ground size, quantity used, etc, so I can't really say the product is not good, but on the other hand I cannot say it is good as I can't seem to make it do what it is supposed to. Perhaps one day I will be able to figure it out and then I will change my review. .

These work fairly well and save a lot of money with two caveats: 1) They are *very* picky about how the coffee is ground. I suspect this is true of refillable cartridges in general. The only pre-ground espresso I have found that works is Lavazza 2 Pack Crema E Gusto Ground 2) They often don't automatically eject from the Nespresso machine when done. I need to dig them out. 3) Cleaning the coffee grounds out of the lid can be tricky. I have learned to use a toothbrush.

tried to make coffee using these reusable pods, and no matter what I tried, it comes out like flavored water..why do people even sell stuff like the...waste of time and $$$..You should not have to guess whether it his packed night or too much or too little coffee..RIDICULOUS! WASTE OF TIME AND $$$$..

Hoped this would replace the expensive Nespresso pods, but alas.... doesn't work quite as well. The filters fit great in our Nepresso Inissia but I have not been able to get the right amount of coffee packed in to it. Either I don't pack enough and the coffee comes out watery, or I pack too much, and the water will not come through at all. I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll need to buy the expensive and wasteful pods, after all. Amazon has good deal on bulk quantity, but still about 33 cents a piece vs about 13 cents when you fill yourself. At least I did not lose a whole lot of money on trying this.

I'm loving these. They work with my nespresso delonghi latissama perfectly. They came on time too. I'm going to order another set soon because they are so easy to use. Thanks
