Has been great for my Python
I got this light because my 25 year old Python was having difficulty shedding. I was told this would do the trick and it has!

Light is great Best price I could find .They are twice as much money at the pet store. These bulb need to be changed every 6 months

Long lasting. Remember to mark bulbs and change in 6 months to retain proper uvb light. Some last that long.

Mixed Bag
So this bulb gives off great light, isn't extraordinarily priced, and does the job. I will say I have yet to see one of those last until the 6 month change out date, buy YMMV.

bulbs used?
bought 2, and it seems like no matter what uvb bulbs i buy on amazon, they arrive faulty. this time, one had something rattling inside the bulb, and to no surprise it did not even turn on. the second one emits light, but very dim. i love amazon, never have an issue with anything except for uvb bulbs for some reason.

Blew after about 10 seconds
Hope the replacement will work. It basically blew right away. I let it warm in the house before I turned on. Oh well.
