We started with one light, and it worked so well we've already installed another 5. It's great to be able to turn lights on/off and dim/brighten hands-free or from another room. I live in an older house with steep stairs but no light switch at the bottom of the stairs. I installed one of the lights at the top of the stairs and now can turn it on from anywhere in the house. Same with my mud room/porch light: no convenient light switch there, now can turn it on from the house or my car with my phone. Hint: use simple words when setting up. Things such as "mud, top, TV, stove, coffee" have worked well for us.

This product worked for a little while, then stopped connecting to my network. No matter how many times I go through the setup process, device setup fails and will not connect to my network. I am unavailable to find any help or support, except for the unhelpful suggestion to keep trying the same failing setup process over and over again.

I recently purchased this light to attach to my living room ceiling fan as an alternative to the lighting kit suggested by the manufacturer. It is low profile and looks good on the ceiling fan. It lights my 32' x 18' living room nicely. While I had initial trouble linking the app, I was able to easily adapt to my phone and Alexa. It is a welcomed addition to my smart home lighting. I will by more of these for other rooms of the house. I did not rank @ 5 stars due to the confusing instructions regarding initial set up. Once through that, everything was a breeze. I do recommend the product to others. Amazon stopped carrying the lights and substituted their own version. This light can still be found on EBAY from ANKEE and is fully available.

Was a bit skeptical about this light because it was so affordable but so far it is a great light. We have very low ceilings and no light switches so this was a replacement for the pull cord fan that we slammed out head into daily.Easy to install in under 5 minutes. Has phase, neutral and ground.Spent most of my time trying to get it to attach to our Echos. Probably 30 minutes until it finally worked.Ordered a second for another room today.

This is a cool light. But the remote died (with the light lit) leaving me with no way to turn it off.I like that this light is slim, hugs the ceiling (great for a low ceiling or if you just don’t want to make a big statement), and has a remote.But after 3 months it stopped responding to the remote. After swapping barriers, googling, I found an iOS app I could use to control it with.And although it’s still functional it’s a bit of a pain to find an app on my already app filled phone to control it.

UPDATE: Failed after 2 and a half years. Light still works but no longer connects to wifi.This points out the real flaw with all smart devices that I've learned over the past couple of years - no matter how wonderful they work when new, they all fail to connect within a few years. Its always the wifi in the device that fails. I'm finding its better to use smart plugs so only that needs replacing rather than a whole device or appliance. Sorry environment for dumping all my still working but no longer connecting plastic devices into you.I've only had it installed for a day now but I really like it. I am definitely happy I bought it. I am using it as a porch light on an enclosed porch that is not open to the weather unless someone leaves the slider open. I have power in the ceiling but no wall switch and not able to run a wire down into the wall for a switch so this light is a good fix for this.Overall, the quality is pretty good for a light of this price. It is all plastic dome and bezel and metal back panel that attaches to the ceiling. It is all white also, so it does have the effect of looking plain or, some may interpret it as "cheap". I like its clean style and look and low profile that's good for low ceilings also. You can remove the plastic bezel easily and paint it a different color to dress it up a bit and then just pop it back on if you wanted to. It has a ring of LEDs in a circle near the outer diameter of the light and they put out a good amount of light. My porch is fairly small, about 8 feet by 12 feet and this light is very bright in that area on the brightest setting but can be dimmed. The remote works very good to turn the light on or off and to dim it but the battery cover was poorly designed and so it does not stay on and just falls off. How lame is that? Very poor engineering and/or manufacturing on the cover. I would have to hold it together with tape or something so I don't know what to do about this yet since the light is installed and working great otherwise. It also did not come with a wall mountable holder for the remote. (I will proably just make one this afternoon on my 3D printer) I really like this light and I'm very happy that the wifi and Alexa setup process was well documented, simple, quick and worked great the first time through.

I installed this light fixture with no experience whatsoever. The instructions are easy to read. The application is easy to set up and works great. The light at full brightness is a bright, white light and on dimmed it appears like a soft white to off white color. It's VERY bright when turned to full brightness. More than I thought it would be! I would recommend this to anyone that wants a cheap, simple upgrade to a medium to small sized room or hallway ceiling light.

I love this light fixture, it has three settings depending on what mood you want to set. It was easy to install, and it worked right out of the box. Be careful I had dropped my, and now have a ding in it. I positioned it in a way that it cannot be seen, but it's tiny anyway. I totally recommend this light especially as a money saved.
