It doesn't stink when you turn the heat on. The fan is AMAZING. It definitely can cool down or heat up a small 3 bedroom house about 920sq ft so the performance is AMAZING. It automatically shuts down if slightly moved so safety is NOT a concern. I wish I could've gotten at least 2 more of these

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased two of these, both renewed, and couldn't be happier. Both units arrived looking (even in original boxes) like brand new. They were put to work right away, and haven't disappointed. The temperature control is excellent, and so easy to understand how everything is set. In eco mode, this little guy keeps my bedroom a consistent temperature (with no other heating available) and it looks kinda cool too. The noise level might be a little more than what some people will expect - I find the sound to be a comforting white noise. The included remote is incredibly useful, but it took me a few tries to remember that turning the heat UP happens on the left side of the remote, which still feels backward to me.

All in all, I am satisfied with this heater fan but not thrilled. I use it to warm up the bathroom while I'm showering and getting ready. The "eco" setting, which is the setting where you can set a temperature and then it tells the heater component to go on and off to regulate that temperature, does NOT work properly in a humid bathroom. The instructions specifically say don't use it in humidity, so I can't say that they didn't warn me. What happens in humidity is once the desired temperature is reached, the fan stops working--you have to cycle it through the different modes to get it working again. What is supposed to happen in eco mode is that it goes back and forth between straight fan mode and heater fan mode to regulate the temperature. So when working properly in eco mode, the fan never actually shuts off; just the heating element turns off and on. Also, the remote has a sticker on it that says what the different buttons are, and after only having the fan a couple of weeks, the sticker is bubbling. It doesn't affect the function at all, but that sticker will likely come off soon and I'll have to figure out a way to label the buttons directly on the plastic.The pros of the fan are that it does heat well. And it's relatively quiet. I like having the remote. And I like the eco function when it's not malfunctioning in humidity. It works well enough that I'm willing to stick it out rather than attempt to try another brand.

I needed to replace my space heater and this heater works for me. gives out just enough heat around the area that I placed it and the temperature controls work well. I really like the remote that connects to the heater that saves me from having to get out of my bed.

The heater does a great job keeping my bedroom nice and toasty. It can get it overly hot if you set it too high. The remote stopped working after a couple years of use and I contacted the seller to ask how I could order and pay for a replacement. They immediately replied and sent me a replacement remote at no cost. This came fairly fast as the seller provided tracking and they even included a battery separately. Still going strong and now with a brand new remote! Would definitely recommend.

This is a very practical item.The temperature work perfect, it tells you the room temperature when you turn it on and it works its way up until it heats the temperature you set it up for. If you don't set it up, it keeps heating until you either turn it off or tune it down. Because it blows warm and hot air as well as cool (not cold) cool air.The oscillation works perfect and the remote control is very convenient.It is a small heater just as described.It does make a slight noise, it is not silent! but it doesn't really bother at all.Also, every time you pick it up it turns off for safety.I would recommend this product. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I do not like that this heater NEVER shuts off when its warm like it is supposed to do. I am using this in an insulated 8ftx8ft office in a pole barn in Northern Michigan. The temps have been brutal around 0 degrees and it does get the office warm, but it doesn't shut off once it hits 72 degrees. It seems to work when I set the mode to 45 degrees so that it doesn't get colder than 45 degrees at night as my separate thermometer reads around 45-48 degrees when I come into the office in the morning. And it does shut off when it is supposed to when it is in this mode. However, I had forgotten to change the mode to the 45 degree mode one night and when I came into the office the next morning, it was 93 DEGREES!!! In addition, we are not using any electricity other than in the office and the energy bill is still at $100/mo so that is pretty expensive to run just for an 8x8 room. I will be looking for an alternative way to heat my office. I am pretty disappointed.

Have been using this for one night so far, and am disappointed with it's operation. It does the job of heating the bedroom, and the fan is quiet. The auto-shutoff safety feature appears to work. The thermostat function does not work, it just keeps heating no matter what temperature it is set at. So it has to be manually shut off and on, causing a loud 'beep' each time. The operational beep is incredibly loud when in a quiet room, which is dusruptive to other people sleeping including a newborn. The screen is also very bright in the dark because it uses green rather than red light for the large temperature numbers. If I keep it I'll need to put a translucent sticker over it to dull it. The remote is OK, but has to be pointed directly at the unit, not at an angle, which in the dark while half asleep is somewhat irritating (on top of the irritation of needing to mess with it at all while sleeping). I'm giving it one more day, but will very likely be returning it.1 year update: we ended up keeping it, and set the eco temp higher to get the temperature right, as it seems to be off by about 4 degrees. Unfortunately the unit is now making a very loud grinding sound when it turns on, for about a minute. Have tried inspecting and blowing out with compressed air. Wish we had returned it a year ago!
