No competition, sadly
The heater works ok. Since the mouse body is metal the heat is more or less getting distributed across the wider surface, but still the hear source is located in the middle and you can clearly tell, the buttons where your fingers are (and fingers is what gets cold first) is not nowhere as warm as the central area. This is where the good parts end, sadly:- Horrible imprecise optical element. It works like one of those early optical mice from 90s when they haven’t figured it out yet and it barely worked. Don’t know what cheap technology this is possibly using but you can move the cursor with maybe 5 pixel precision. I have amazon basics cheapest mouse and it works just fine, and so is any other generic mouse I came across in the past 20 years, but not this one. If you need to do anything precise with it it will be a real struggle.- Not ergonomic shape. It is just inconvenient to hold in your hand due to odd shape. The buttons are too high, and the middle is not high enough, so it’s inconvenient to rest your palm on it (and that’s what you want to feel the heat) and operate as a mouse at the same time. I find myself either operating it without feeling the heat in the palm, or stopping and resting my palm on it to warm up, not both. Why not just use a generic mouse shape like every other mouse these days?- After a month of usage the timer that supposed to turn it off after 4 hours broke and it now turns it off at random times - could be 10 seconds in, could be 10 minutes. I constantly need to turn it back on. I wish it didn’t have this timer at all and would turn off whenever you unplug it.Overall if this was just a regular mouse it would deserve 1 star, but since there is nothing else available on the market like this we have no choice really, it’s better than nothing. I really wish this was much higher quality in terms of it being a proper mouse, and not being a heated brick that barely works as a mouse. I wouldn’t mind paying premium for such combo.

Works well but button is too small
The mouse gets hot and heats quickly. I like the fact that you can use it as a pocket heater for several hours with it unplugged. My only complaint is the heat on and off button is too small. This mouse is helpful for people with arthritis but people with arthritis will find it difficult to turn on the heat feature.

Love this mouse
Love this mouse! It's so cool and smooth to the touch. And that heat function is pretty swell for arthritis, warming up your hand so it functions better. Highly recommend this!

HIgh-quality optical mouse, the surface feels very comfortable to the touch and the hand-warmer feature is excellent both while using the computer or unplugged and used for the soothing heat feature alone. Pretty great idea!

doesnt stay warm
We are on out second mouse and they both do the same thing. They alternate from warm to ice so it's only occasionally useful. My wife works in a very cold office which disallows space heaters so I thought this might help. Unfortunately it doesn't quite work as advertised.

Stopped working after 2 years 4 months
I bought this on 12/10/2018 and it stopped working on 5/1/2021. It worked great great but I will look for another brand to buy next time

Very hot or cool, no in between.
I would not purchase again. The shape of the mouse is very standard, nothing that makes it amazing. The heat gets INSTANTLY very hot and when you turn it off, it is INSTANTLY cold. There is no in between and when the heat is off, the mouse seems colder than my office temp.

Love it - I have arthritis so the warmth of it keeps my hand from stiffening up.
