Your Healing Hands: The Polarity Experience

Over the years I have read numerous books and taken many courses on energy healing techniques, methods and systems. In the past I have read several books by Richard Gordan, with the exception of this 141 page soft cover volume (Your healing Hands: The polarity experience Pub. 1978-2004), which I recently purchased on Amazon for a bargain price.Since I was familiar with Reiki, hand and foot reflexology, Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga and Quantum-Touch methods this book did not really impress me; nevertheless, it is a great little text for those just beginning their study of energy healing methods. The very easy to follow instructions along with the fantastic illustrations in this book makes this a good basic reference manual for anyone interested in esoteric healing methods.Rating: 4 Stars. I was surprised at how easy it is to use your hands for healing, or at least helping pain. Even children can do it!One night, a friend of mine was experiencing severe neck pain. I followed the directions for helping a headache, since that was the only procedure I could remember at the time. I asked her to relax and breathe deeply and I did too. Since we were with other friends in a card game, and were only taking a quick break, I applied my hands for only about 2 minutes. Ten minutes later, she looked up at me and remarked that her neck felt noticeably better!I've also used the one of the techniques on my cat. She had what looked like a bite injury on her leg that was nasty looking. Bites usually result in infection, so I decided what the heck, give it a try. My cat would only sit still for about three or four minutes, then she hobbled off. I checked the bite the next day, and there was no indication of infection, and she was running around without a limp.I hope others will keep an open mind and give it a try.

Richard Gordon does a good job explaining the unexplainable. Explaining Polarity today is a lot like explaining electricity to the masses before Ben Franklin flew that kite. It is unfamiliar territory to most. If you are curious or know a little and looking for solid - yet simple - basic knowledge, get this book. I still cannot explain how electricity works any better than I can explain how Polarity works, but I know Polarity is as real as electricity.

YOU NEED THIS BOOK if you are into energy medicine. I like the photos to help you with visuals, not an extremely long book so you can get through this in a short amount of time if you are worried about length. I have gotten this book for other healers that are friends and they thanked me.

I bought this book when it first showed up in my area, soon after it was published. I enjoyed it as a simple and very helpful guide.I lost it in moving some time ago. I especially wanted another original book, as Richard Gordon has since expandedhis ideas and techniques into Quantum Touch, and I wanted to chronicle the journey,I really appreciate Richard's kind and gentle insights.

Awesome book for anyone wanting to learn about Polarity Therapy. Great illustrations, easy to follow. I have used it for years and recommend it regularly to others.

YOUR HEALING HANDS is a useful manual for the practice of Polarity Therapy. It is very concise in the manner in which it describes each polarity procedure. I find it a very empowering tool that I can use in my healing practice.

this book was great to just throw yourself into a healing experience whilst ensuring that you protect yourself appropriately-practical and easy to follow with fantastic results...should be taught at school

A really good book about polarity therapy and well worth having if you want to know more about this subject. Recommended

thérapeute masseur m’intéressant depuis des années a ce domaine, je trouve ce bouquin redondant et mélangeant beaucoup de thérapies que je connais, Polarité de Bob Moore, Cranio-sacre, un mélange personnel comme je le fais maintenant pour moi-meme de tout ce que j'ai appris donc pour un novice je pense que ce bouquin peut-être intéressant sinon aller voir ailleurs.This book is nothing new, a mixture of other therapies, holds, Polarity, Cranio-sacral, maybe good for newbies but boring for therapist i reckon. not useful for me anyway
