Oasis Supply Girl Polka Dot No. 1 Birthday Party Wax Candle for Cake Decorations, 3.25” Tall, Pink & White

I ordered this candle a little late and was really afraid I wouldn't receive it in time for my daughters' party due to my negligence in preparing for it, but it came quickly and I'm very pleased. The color of it is definitely pink. It's not a hot pink, but not light pink either. Just regular pink. I put the candle in the cake and it almost covered the diagonal sides on the bottom for it to stay in place, but that wasn't a big deal to me. It was still clearly a "1." I put the candle in about 20 minutes before lighting it and it never fell over. We lit it in the kitchen and walked it to the living room for my daughter to blow out (with help) and had no problems at all. I've seen some reviews about how the wax went all over the cake after lighting the candle and all I can think is "Duh. Wax melts." It's obviously not meant to be lit for a long time. In the 3 minutes we had it lit, it hardly melted at all. We had enough time for plenty of pictures, watching it, talking to my little one, singing Happy Birthday, etc. I'm very pleased with this purchase and recommend this to anyone looking for a cute "1" candle. Again, it's not meant to be lit like a household candle. It's for short-term use. I love it and all the guests loved it too!

This candle was great. It lit easy and stayed lit. It looked great on the cake. It stuck in the frosting well and wasn't too heavy so it never tipped over or anything. The dots on the candle looked good. I have had other ones that have painted dots or designs and they seemed to chips off so it just looked cheap and broken. This candle looked really good after mailing and after use. If I had use for another "1" candle, i would keep it and reuse it. VERY GOOD QUALITY! VERY PLEASED!

This was a purchase for my daughter's first birthday. It is a decent and nice candle that matched up with her birthday cake. If you are a regular amazon customer (have some more items to order with this add on item) and don't want to limit yourself with the inventory of your local party shop, it is a good alternative that does the job as well. Some people say that they paid over $4 for this but I paid less than $3.5 which makes it even cheaper than those sold in local vendors. A quite satisfactory purchase which did its job and was put alongside with other simple items that will be kept as memories for her childhood.

I bought this as an add in item for $1. It was such a great price because the others I looked at were $2 or more. I just refuse to pay that much for something that's on the cake for 30 seconds. Great value and was the perfect size. Not too thin and super cute.

I decided on a Minnie Mouse theme for my daughter's first birthday party. Rather than using licensed party supplies, I wanted to have a more subtle theme with pink polka dots. This candle fit the bill and looked adorable on her smash cake. It was easy to light and didn't drip on the cake.

not much else to say... I guess after reading other reviews, it is thinner than expected. I remember thinking that when I first got it, but it wasn't a big deal...it's just a candle. It worked fine on my daughters large cupcake smashcake...it stayed put even though the top tip of our cake was a little pointy (I used the Wilton 2105-5038 Giant Cupcake Pan ). The smashcake turned out adorable with this candle, but you can find "1" candles anywhere. There's nothing special about this one.
