PiccadillyWrite The Poem

Great book!
This journal is great! I love how simple or a little more challenging the prompt can be! It has one word at the top for the prompt, and words that if you want to use on the side that are often associated to describe the top word. Great daily practice that's never too taxing. I had a couple of writing friends who had got this, and loved it as well!

I bought this for a friend
I had someone new at my Women Write group (that is currently not meeting due to COVID19) and she read a couple poems she wrote with the help of this book. They were amazing. So, I bought this book to help my friend write more poems. She is really enjoying the book.

Great book- inspiring
I own a small music venue and an artist that came recently picked this up in the green room and actually asked if he could keep it. Of course we said yes. He said the prompts were great for song writing. I immediately went to find it again. Once again we have it in our green room for anyone to feel inspired and write.

Great way to get creative
Each page gave you a general topic to write a poem about. Fun!

I'd write a poem about this book, but it definitely didn't inspire me to write a thing ...
Meh. I expected more.I was hoping this would help inspire the muse to visit and I'd write a poignant poem that would inspire the masses. Unfortunately, it's sitting under a pile of papers, and pretty much forgotten at this point. OK, dramatic, but true story. Each page has a series of words on the side bar and an area to write. There will be a prompt .... "Write a poem about rain.' The words on the side are descriptive words that tie into the prompt. There are about 6-8 words. And that's it.'Write a poem about X.' 'Write a poem about Y.' 'Write a poem about Z.'No real inspiration involved. It just wasn't what I was expecting.
