All unharmed and released into the woods!!!
This was amazing!I do not use poisons nor death traps. I live in the woods. In winter, these guys really love my water heater!I put it out last night next to the water heater and this morning it was full! All were alive and unharmed. I released them all in the woods. This was amazing!I used wet cat food in the center. In the morning, I carefully picked it up from the center nob and placed it in a clear bag and immediately brought it outside to the woods. The trap doors are very delicate and move easily (and needs to be, for them to get in). So, just be careful when you pick it up. You want to keep it level. Otherwise, a door will open and some may get out.Hope this helps!

Works Great! Ordering more
I love this trap! I put some dry cat food in there (since they seem to love it) and in one day I caught about 10! It is so easy to do, a child can do it! Because I have animals, it is hard for me to use a lot of products, including glue traps because my cat likes to play with them and they stick to her little paws. I am ordering 2 more just because I live in a complex and I want to be prepared.Note: I do not recommend this product if you are squeamish as it does not kill them, only traps them. You might want to put some Boric Acid pills in there along with the food to kill them. The pills are also available on Amazon for a very reasonable price.

It works
In cold weather you won't catch anything because our little friends don't like cold. When it gets hot you will get to see how effective this is. I put cat food in it when I first bought it (months ago). They still come to the smell of the cat food. My record is 12 roaches at once. To get rid of them, I put the whole trap in the freezer and let it sit for a few minutes. Roaches are extremely prone to cold and they definitely die in less than 10 min. I normally don't kill the insects around the house, however my spouse and kids are very scared of them so I do what I have to do. I am hoping that it is not a painful death for them (freezing is presumably relatively less painful, at least for humans). I have chickens and they love eating the roaches after they come out of the freezer.

WOWIE WOW!!
Yes, FOR SURE this works. I put brown sugar in it and it did NOT work at all for many days. Then I put white sugar in, with a few sprinkles of sugar at each doorway. WOW! 7 roaches were in it the next morning! Boom! Don't give up, you just have to find the most delicious bait. You don't have to kill them. Put them outside somewhere away from houses. Other wildlife will eat them (birds, lizards, frogs, possums), so don't use poison bait. Good luck!

Works but cheap
I bought this to help eradicate a roach problem by my slob neighbor whom I share a common wall with. The trap works well catching 4 roaches on the first night however one of the trap doors was installed withou a pen and fell out upon emptying the trap. It did not fall when the roaches entered but they may have easily been able to exit has they pushed the broken door over.

This actually works!
I tried the ultrasonic plugin bug repellent, essential oils, garlic, nothing worked. I do not want to kill the cockroaches, just move them out of my house. I ordered this product, within 2 days I caught 5 adults and 2 little guys. Let them go outside far away from my place. I put a water bottle cap in the trap with water and a small piece of a peanut butter kind bar. At first, the trap looked too small to catch my extra-large cockroaches, however, it works! There is enough room in there for many. Easy to clean, rinse with soap and water, and put back out to catch more.

Good idea poor execution.
this needs radiant heat reflective coating to keep it nice and warm for the bugs. it's too bright for them too.

Not worth the price
I had it out for four days with honey nut cheerios as the bate. Didn't catch a single roach. Added a piece of banana and a piece of turkey to the bait. Caught 3 roaches. Then two of them ended up escaping that night.I ended up buying some roach motels for only 3 bucks each and caught 10X as many roaches. This was definitely not a good purchase.
