DC Collectibles DC Comics Icons: Superman Statue (1:6 Scale)

Received Item, and as with others, I was expecting precisely what the picture displays: A countenance which has not been seen as of yet, deeply glorified and detailed---a Face, though, which could exist, an extremely unique conception! However, what I received, twice, was a disaster, a blasphemy, diametrically opposed from the glorified form displayed on All Websites! He is supposed to have a Cytoplasm/Lightning type suit depicting absolute power and Glorification-- It is Brightly Lit, but not the same. Finally, I had trouble with His Glorified Stance a couple of times and the first Time that He was Completely Tanned. It took the third time to get some reasonable facsimile of the advertised product from "Sunshine Collectibles" this final time.I have contacted W.B. ext.......... But No One Seems to Care, including all these false reviews on Amazon. Ergo, Why am I giving this review 3 stars as opposed to 1. It is simply this: the statue, though far from being true to the picture, (FALSE ADVERTICEMENT TO THE N'th DEGREE, A BLASFAMY IN SOME RESPECTS, AT LEAST THE FIRST 2 I RECEIVED), is STILL an unique statue and reasonably well made and for the money, 76 dollars, with the beauty of the "S", to the 52 look, a must for any true Superman Devotee. It is, in my humble opinion, still one of the best on the market. YES! We should be expecting far more, but sometimes we just need to face up to what humanity espouses: mediocrity and bureacracy. May one day the Divine Superman be actualize for us ALL, as we all must strive towards this Ethos. CONCORDIA!

This is an awesome statue for sure. The red and blue colors of the suit are very bright and vivid and the heavy Duty cloth cape is a plus as well as the wire inside the cape to make it look as if the cape is floating in the wind which you can make happen. The only 2 downsides to this statue that I dont like is the fact that the S shield is not on the cape at all and the other thing I am not a huge fan of is the base itself I feel that it would have looked a lot better with an S shield shape base as some of the others statues have. But as far as a collectors item this is a must have for any Superman fan and/or collector for sure.

When I got mine out the box the head was decapitated (yes I was very careful), either the friction broke it and or this was a repack (broken) it is a very low number in the series (300's out of 5200) . In any event seems to be a very fragile figure. Made out plastic no info in the discription. Very nice paint job, colors on the suit are cover with what it seems to be clear the one they use in car paint jobs. The face and hands looks like a long sun bathing was taking and got really burn not a smooth tan, to that matter. At the end is a Superman figure a must for collector.

For DC fans who can relate to "New 52" series comics, this figure matches that new series featuring Superman. When I opened the box I was very satisfied at the overall design and detail on this statue. Especially the facial profile. It stands about 11inches tall including the stand. Ready to display on the base in less than a minute. The colors are very striking and the cape has a small wire sewn in on both the edges so you can slightly bend it to appear as if the wind is blowing it to one side. Although one other person here complained about the type of stand design that came with it...im happy with it overall.

I'm not a big fan of Superman but he needed to be represented in my DC collection. The iconic pose is what really makes this statue. Huge base of the Icons series, not a fan.

This thing is bad ass love it but the pegs on his feet were kinda bent took me awhile to get superman standing other than that love it

he is a little bit tanned maybe to much exposure from the Sun? Also he could use more muscle like the Shazam statue. The cape is more like a V shape at the back.

This is a great collectors statue. Only wish the cape would lay flat on the shoulders like it does in the sales photo. The cape does have wires though for the wind blown look.
