My son really liked this book! He liked that a giant sea creature helped Jack and Annie. He is reading the whole series.

The children in my class really enjoyed this story which is one of a series based in different historical periods. The fact book that goes with them is also very interesting and informative.

Dies ist mein erstes Buch dieser Reihe und ich habe es aufgrund von Rezensionen gekauft. Ich bin nicht enttäuscht. Ich lese meinen Kindern gerne Bücher vor, die fesselnd und gleichzeitig informativ sind. Neue Begriffe werden durch die story eingeführt und gut verständlich vermittelt. Dieses Buch scheint mir ideal für das Alter von 6 Jahren aufwärts. Ich werde weitere Bücher dieser Reihe kaufen. Persönlich mag ich nicht so gerne, dass Magie in extrem vielen Kinderbüchern, Theaterstücken etc. zu großen Raum einnimmt. Daher ein Stern weniger. Ansonsten aber empfehlenswert.

The book was very enjoyable and full of action and adventure. The book held my attention. I highly recommend it!

Bought for my 6 year old son. He loved it although we read it to him. He would like more of the set and hopefully he will start reading them himself.
