I'm not a real estate agent, but I wish that the agents I have hired in the past had read this book. It's insightful and chocked full of pragmatic advice.I bought this book after reading some humorous and enlightening excerpts. It is extremely well written and looks great on any coffee table, desktop, or library shelf.If you are in real estate, the appendix alone is worth the price. I learned a ton from the glossary and Porcelli's flow charts, before even reading a page of text. Porcelli outlines the process and breaks down the essentials in a way that any beginner can consume.The style is no-nonsense, but it's delivered in a way that is enjoyable and easy to read. I've already recommended this book to all of my real estate acquaintances and several friends who aren't agents enjoy it as well.If you're a real estate agent trying not to suck, don't hesitate to buy.

Excellent book!! Very EASY read! Humorous and informative, not boring and repetitive like most real estate books. It is set up like a true handbook/manual. If you need to reference something it's very easy to find. Everything is explained in a way that anyone can understand and really use the information. Ive been a real estate agent and associate broker for 9 years and the first thing I learned is that there is very little step by step training for a new agent. This book has that and more. Yes, this book is about running a real estate business, and yes, it's actually funny. There is a ton of great information that I was able to take action on and improve my business. I'm fairly new to real estate and it helped me tremendously. Even if you're not new, I believe you'd get value from this book. Not only is it a great read, but it's a book I like to refer back to when I need a little course correction.

not like other incorrect book line

I’m well on my way to begin my journey into Real Estate. I’ve been reading book after book. This one is by far my favorite! It’s hilarious, informative, motivating, and honest. I truly feel as if I’m haveing a conversation with a good friend. Per his suggestion, I’ve highlighted, made notes, & even some cheesy smiley faces on my favorite pages. I can’t put it down. Hell, once I do, I just end up picking it back up to reread another page, then another. I highly recommend! Actually - this NEEDS TO BE A MOVIE!

I LOVE this book! I purchased it on recommendation from an experienced and successful agent and it's been my go-to reference book since I started my career in RE. Besides all the basics, there's chapters on prospecting, valuation and pricing, presentations, putting together offers and contracts, and more. My favorite part is an appendix of flow charts that will walk you through each step of the key elements covered in the book. The chapters are short with great turn-of-the-century illustrations and a good dose of the author's sense of humor. There's something in this book for everyone that's in the business of buying and selling real estate!

Book has some great content...so the 3-Stars is for the small Font size, over crowded data on all pages and abundance of reference points which all makes for a difficult read. The Flow Charts are super busy, too many references and difficult to follow. I guess that’s why author title this has a handbook.

I have read A LOT of real estate sales books, most of them in fact. Simply put, this is the best book, guide, manual whatever you are looking for, of real actionable systems and processes to being a successful real estate agent. It's packed with information of everything you need, and I mean everything! Prospecting, listings, marketing, pricing, working with buyers, and so much more! And don't miss the flow charts in the back with references to the relevant page where you'll find the content you are looking for. So convenient and handy! Can't recommend this book enough if you are in real estate at any level.
