I bought this set as I had a specific project in mind that require a specific number of dolls.The handcraft looks and feels nice, soft wood and the pieces fit good, only the 2 biggest needed a tiny bit more effort to open.Dimentions from big to small - H21cmW10.5cm/ H15.5cmW8cm/ H12cmW6.5cm/ H9.5cmW5cm/ 6.5 cmW3.5cm/ H4.5cmW2.5cm/ H3.5cmW1.5cm/ H2cmW0.8cmThe smaller pieces are really small, so not recomended for children. This part is a bit of a downside, however it is good if the purpose is display only, giving the sensation of going forever smaller. The same way it will be harder to paint something so small and easier to loose.The other point is that the bigger is in fact big. There is a couple of things that I see myself capable of do using this set (besides my original idea), use the set as it is, use only the 6 middle pieces and bin the smaller, use the bigger as a box, use 7 of them, bin the little one. Throw away the 2 smaller ones and give the 6 bigger to a creative child, or use the smaller ones as a joke for an handmade Christmas cracker, or something else.I admit that for some people might not be worth it spend the money in something they need to adjust to make it work, but in the end it depends of what you are seeking. The quality is good and even pricy, was worth it for me, personally. I needed a bigger set, as I rather start in a bigger scale for work details, and needed more than the traditional 5 pieces.They also come with a small booklet explaining the production process and how to open your dolls and the delivery was fast. I provided all the information I can think is relevant.In conclusion I am happy with this product, but might not suit everyone needs.

Very prompt delivery. Very nice product - smooth, tight fitting, thick walls, look to be good quality. I look forward to painting them. Quite a surprise how big the biggest was and how small the smallest!

Smooth and perfect closing/opening of each doll. The smallest doll is so tiny, it shouldn't even be counted. It's like a match stick. I have made the 2nd smallest doll the baby/smallest.

I will be the first to admit I didn’t Read the product dimensions, and I knew that getting an 8-piece stacking doll meant the largest one was going to be pretty darn big, but I was not expecting the absolute GIRTH this thing holds! I have seen NICU babies larger than this stacking doll! If I tried taking this thing around with me, I’d be getting charged admission fees! It is HUGE! I should have realized from the pictures, but I just did not, and I hope you know what you’re getting into if you buy this!Now this is not to say that it is not a great product!! It absolutely is! The craftsmanship is immaculate, and I absolutely love the smell of fresh wood I’m getting off this! But please check the size before you buy, lol
