Sense Light | Lights That Turn Themselves On When The Sun Goes Down

Just received this today and was so excited to try it out. Unfortunately it’s working like a strobe light, which I don’t think my neighbors will appreciate. I did read that it could be 1 of 2 things. 1) it is not screwed in correctly or 2) it’s a bad bulb. I unscrewed the bulb and very carefully screwed it back it and it was on! A few minutes later my dog started barking like crazy at the front door and when I went to see what his problem was it was pretty obvious it was that flashing light coming in the side window. Ugh...I hate making returns!!! This will be my first on Amazon so I guess I better read up on the process. The concept is great, just wish it worked.

Other sensor lights just haven't been up to the task over an extended period. These sensors work extremely well, and the light output is exceptionally bright. Worth every penny. I use these in porch lights. Over several years, I've tried various base-mount light sensors to turn incandescent bulbs on and off at dusk/dawn, but inevitably the sensors get plugged up with bugs looking for a place to nest, then they no longer work. These bulbs are a completely self-contained item that works as advertised, provides a LOT of light and doesn't get "bugged".

Works as stated comes on at dusk goes off at sunrise.Has been noted on some reviews that the light does Flickr, mine flickers maybe once every 15/20 minutes nothing really noticeable however I would buy it again. I have changed my review just because I only got 8700 hrs out of the bulb and not the 30000 they claim.

This is one of the first dusk-to-dawn sensor lights that actually works. I've tried several different sensors in my front outside lights, and they haven't worked... either wouldn't come on when they should or would stay on all the time. This one senses perfectly. It doesn't seem affected by the fact that there is sort of a shadow over it near the house... it turns on once it's near dark and will shut off once it's light out in the morning.

I didn't even know this technology existed, but I am so happy I discovered it. We have these on our back and front porch and they turn themselves on every night and turn themselves off every morning. I love it! I never come home to a dark house, and I don't have to leave the lights on all day.

These lights are awesome! I used to have to remember to go outside and turn my outside lights on every night but now I don't have to worry about it, they turn themselves on. This is especially great for when we are gone nobody can tell because the lights still turn on like they are supposed to. They also have lasted well in the weather which is great considering they can really get beat up out there.

I needed 6 bulbs and tried two first. They worked better than I had even hoped for. Then I ordered the other 4, unfortunately I got billed for 4 but only received 2. Hopefully this will get taken care of as the bulbs are sensational.

Worked as advertised the first night, then began flickering continually the second night. It was flickering off and on to the point that I noticed the light from around the side of my house as I was driving approaching my house. I thought it may have been my light connection but when I replaced it with a different brand there was no issue
